Beautiful spacious lake home with everything you need to have for a vacation filled with family memories. Easy check in and out, lovey kitchen for family meals together and out door fire pit for fun. Our Grandson loved fishing off the dock and we walked just a few steps to swimming in the lake!

Highly recommend!
We had the most relaxing week here playing cards, fishing off the dock, and going on our boat to the sandbar daily. The house had everything we needed and then some! The beds were all super comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The host was very welcoming and responsive and even touched base with us on check-in day to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful end of summer vacation!
Family fun, very spacious, clean, had everything you could need. Fun fishing on the channel right in the back yard. The street was quit, with a cute dock at the end of the road where you could watch the sunset.
The home was better than the pictures. There is a beautiful wood table large enough for all 8 guests to sit comfortably around to enjoy a meal or for family games. It was impeccably cleaned. Everything you need is there and available for use in the kitchen. I like to cook my own food rather than going out to eat. The owners have a book helping you to know what is around to do or good restaurants nearby. The owners answer any text messages in a timely manner. We had a great stay!
We brought our boat up and stayed in August. There was a nice dock to park our boat and make it easily get into the lake although parts are slightly shallow. The cabin had everything we needed and was very tidy and clean and we had great communication from the host.
Nice roomy home, comfortable beds, furnished nicely. Lots of amenities. Loved sitting out in the gazebo overlooking the water. Negatives; we were supposed to get possession at 4-4:30, but cleaning people hadn’t shown up yet.
We loved the cabin and it was stocked with everything we needed and plenty of room. Much needed: a clock in the Master bedroom and living room, along with a boat too👍
If this were mine, I'd trim back all the shrubs and weeds covering the bay window and cutting the view of the channel by 80%, plus the spiders need to be cleared off the channel side back door.
It I could give it 10+ stars I definitely would. Everything about the house is exactly how it shows in the photos. Lots of room, clean . Has everything you need . The owner was so quick to respond back when I had a question. Very nice . The only thing I would recommend is to cut/trim down the brushes in front of the dinning room window. So we could have a better view of the channel since it covers about 80% of the window. Other than that we were very pleased . And definitely would recommend it to everyone . Definitely would stay again

Great stay on Houghton Lake!
Our family enjoyed our stay on Houghton Lake. The house was perfect for our group of 7. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed and more. I appreciated that the basics- dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, trash bags, etc were supplied - such a nice bonus. We loved kayaking and paddle-boarding through the channel out to the lake. There’s another great channel just to the right that we spent hours paddling. We loved walking down the street to the dock and watching sunsets. We ate at Spikehorn - great food and very reasonably priced. The house is on a channel that wasn’t great for floating or swimming, but we had fun fishing. We rented a pontoon from Suncatchers - they bring the boat right to the house! We had fun out on the water, at the sandbars and going for sunset rides. There’s no grill, but we cooked over the fire a couple times. Lots of outdoor seats. There’s a coffee shop and ice cream stop about 3 minutes down the road that we enjoyed. We also loved Limberlost restaurant. There’s a park very close with pickleball courts and that was fun. Overall it was a great trip and would definitely recommend this house for a stay on Houghton Lake.
excellent place to stay on channel. Lots of room for all. Good updates. Would rent again. We like the channel for boating as this lake can get rough ut sleep well when in the channel.
It was an amazing trip the cabin was awesome very clean easy to get to had a great time traveled alot of ground and also went to tip up town I applaud the cleaner bravo to her I would hire her in a minute if she ever came to pigeon forge tn owners also were great I 200% recommend this property
We had an awesome time at this property. My husband and I went for a week vacation with another couple. We had the best time. The owner was so easy to work with as was the property manager. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our personal space and our own bathrooms. We went for walks to the end of the street to watch the fabulous sunsets and we even met other couples on the street who were very nice. The town was very nice also. I would definitely recommend this property if you are going on vacation either with other adults or kids. We will be back and I won't even look for other properties in the area.
Fall vacations for me is more of a time out to relax , smell the coffee, enjoy the changing of another season, and enjoy having absolutely nothing to do other than taking time out to communicate with each other. My family has grown and moved on with their own families and individually it was nice to share time, conversation, and good meals. This is my second time spent at this house and it remains one of the most comfortable place I have ever stayed and would look forward to in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with me.
We have rented this cabin in years past and once again had a wonderful family vacation! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and our most favorite cabin to stay at! Thanks again for another wonderful week at the cabin! See you again next year!
This place is huge on the inside, great kitchen/dining area and huge living room with big screen TV (including movie subscriptions & DVD's). Three Alexa's in the house, along with washer/dryer/all the amenities. All newer furnishings and decor - very nice! We'll be back again. Room for two pontoons at the seawall - boat launch right across the river.
We enjoyed our time at the house and on the lake. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us. The house was clean and we'll maintained. We had no issues the whole week we were there.
