Three 65+ female cousins visiting mexico for the first time. Loved the accomodations and spent a lot of time on the back patio. Interesting and quiet neighborhood. The hosts were helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Frustrating experience!
When we arrived I was pleased to see that the house was located in a quiet neighborhood but then disappointed to see that the online listing of the bedrooms was inaccurate. Two rooms are said to have king size beds but we're actually are full size beds. Too small for couples to sleep in. It was very hot and the house doesn't have air conditioning so it would have been nice to at least have ceiling fans in the rooms. We were not aware of the water usage limit and we must have taken too many showers or something because on our second night there we had absolutely no running water throughout the house. We weren't able to get a hold of the property manager until the next morning. A very frustrating experience
My wife and I spent a very pleasant 6 weeks in Ajijic ( feb 4- mar17)
Weather was perfect, the Mexican people were friendly and there were enough gringos that we did not feel too homesick
The house was beautiful, very clean and bright, I’ll about midway between Ajijic and Chapala we did not have a car so we did a lot of walking or 8 pesos bus ride
(Take the bus u meet lots of interesting people ) A recommendation for the ladies, forget the fancy shoes, runners are in order to make your way through the cobblestone streets.
The property manager was excellent and was available at all times. He wanted to ensure that we had a good stay and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We are torn between coming back next year or trying a new adventure

the house was very nice, it looked almost new. it was very clean and in a quite neighborhood. the furniture looked new and was very confortable, the beds were very good too.the only thing it needed was ceiling fans, it got a little warm at times. I would highly reccomend this house. we had a car so getting around was no problem, I would stay again.
