We are so glad you had a good stay. We hope you are able to come back for another visit.
Great spot for our family to stay, we had my parents, adult sibling and infant staying in the house with my husband and I. We took advantage of having 2 living rooms to have our baby stay in the pack and play in the back living space. Appreciated all the baby items (pack and play as well as high chair and kid plates). They had laundry detergent and all the basic needs for the kitchen.
Great house with everything we needed. We were there during a heat wave and couldn’t enjoy the outdoor spaces like we wanted to but we loved the board games and the big table to play them on. So much space for all of us to spread out, well-stocked kitchen, easy drive to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham, fast internet. We would happily return to this property.

My family stayed for 3 nights and we had a fantastic stay. Gretchen was amazing in the way that she communicated everything we needed to know about the check in/check out and house policies and really went above and beyond! The neighborhood is quiet but so close to shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this home to anyone!

2nd time staying at this home. Quiet neighborhood great for walking/running & close to downtown. It was a perfect place for us and some of our adult children to stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving weekend.

So glad our house was comfortable for your family. We hope you come back for another visit soon!
This home was perfect for our week-long stay in Carrboro with our 14 month old. It had all of the amenities you could need with a toddler (high chair, pack n play, laundry, pots/pans and kitchen utensils), and cozy charm for the adults. We were walking distance from a couple of playgrounds, which was an added bonus! Would certainly stay again!
The house is just Amazing! As soon as you open the door it is very welcoming. Smells real pretty and very clean. The house is bright and spacious. The boys enjoyed playing basketball and board games. Perfect for a family with younger children. Deer visit morning and afternoon. They actually greeted us when we arrived. Beautiful neighborhood and nice restaurants nearby.

Carrie and family were wonderful guests. We would be happy to host them again.
We enjoyed our second stay in this beautiful home in Carrboro. Loved the bathroom upgrade with the walk in shower, which made the house even more comfortable than before. It is so convenient to all that Carrboro and Chapel Hill have to offer, and the family of deer who spend lots of time in the yard are an added bonus. They do a wonderful job of anticipating every need and providing everything you would want for a comfortable stay. Truly a home away from home!
This house had everything we needed for our stay, was very clean and cozy. Four deer greeted us in the front yard when we arrived and five deer came to say goodbye on the morning we left. We easily drove to Chapel Hill and Durham on several occasions. Be sure to visit the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market.

I work in consulting and my husband works in bike the industry. We have 2 children (18 and 22) and have lived in Carrboro, the "Paris of the Piedmont", for more than 20 years. We are right next door to Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have an adjunct appoint in the Gillings School of Global Public Health and occasionally teach a class in global health.
Why they chose this property
My dad is a snowbird from Michigan and lives in the house during the winter months and we make this house available the rest of the year as a short- or medium-term rental in the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area.
What makes this property unique
This house is easily accessible to all of Carrboro and Chapel Hill, walking, biking, by car, or by free city just steps from the house. Carrboro is the funky neighbor to Chapel Hill, with lots going on, including live music, restaurants and bars, and tons of outdoor activities like mountain biking, road biking, and hiking. My husband works at the local Trek Bike shop so ask us about good trails for mountain and road biking!
