Shearwater House is a delightfully spacious holiday accommodation option suited to both groups or families at any time of year. With the ability to sleep up to 12 guests comfortably throughout 6 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 3 downstairs; each equipped with a King Size Bed or 2 Singles in each room upon request. Each bedroom is best serviced by an adjoining ensuite bathroom and all are equipped with hydroponic heating and TV. Easily accessible and generously sized is an open plan kitchen / living / dining area both up and downstairs boasting elevated views over the Moyne River. Other features include laundering facilities, outdoor decking / entertaining spaces. Sitting at a stone's throw to the town centre this is the perfect hub for your Port Fairy holiday.

Please note that unless otherwise specified at least 7 days prior to your arrival that the bedding configurations will be as follows: 5 x bedrooms with king beds and 1 x bedroom with two single beds.

This accommodation ticks all the boxes but it needs to be refreshed (repainting & some blinds replaced)and new dining chairs for downstairs dining table. Happy to return for another stay.

Property was great for our group of 10 - plenty of room to spread out, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of hot water for showers. Carpets could do with a good steam clean but apart from that it was perfect

Port Fairy Getaway

This is a very comfortable spacious house in a great location. We have stayed here many years ago when it was in pristine condition, unfortunately it has not been maintained and is now needing attention. Fortunately the positives outweigh the negatives and we would be happy to return.

Pity about the Air Conditioning

Shearwater is a lovely and relaxing place to stay. The upstairs area has splendid views and LOTS of glass. It gets very warm. It was therefore irritating that for the second year in a row the air conditioning did not work for any of the 7 day stay and we boiled. The carpet is now in need of a good clean or replacement.

Fabulous location and house

Our group come together once a year and with 12 people 6 couples always a bit difficult to get a place began enough to fit us all and we stumbled across this gem walking distance to town, beautiful walks to beach and awesome view out down the Moyne river. Very affordable and absolutely fabulous.
