Wood n Shores - Port Fairy

Wood n Shores is a recently completed, architecturally designed, 3 bedroom house in the centre of Port Fairy. Constructed from rammed earth and reclaimed timbers it provides both a unique visual and sensory experience. Only 50 metres from Port Fairy's cafes/restaurants and boutique shopping and a 5 minute walk to East Beach. It is ideal for families or couples looking to relax and enjoy all that Port Fairy has to offer.

The house features 2 levels of contemporary living. The ground level consists of 2 bedrooms (queen, queen and built in bunks), bathroom (with under floor heating), powder room, laundry, media room, open plan dining, kitchen and living room leading out to a rear deck with a built in bbq, dining and outdoor lounge areas.

The second level consists of a large master bedroom with adjoining wet room (double shower) and separate powder room. This level has its own mezzanine living area with a sofa bed for extra guests and direct access to a large balcony with views to the iconic Fiddlers Green.

Wood n Shores is an exceptional property and Cindy is a wonderful host. We were two families with 4 children between us ranging from1-10 years old and the house could not have been better suited to our needs. It exceeding our expectations and we had the best holiday with our close friends. It is a perfectly clean property with everything you could possibly need to make traveling with kids easy. Cindy’s communication was exceptional and she was very accommodating to any of our requests even allowing early check in and late check out which is very uncommon and much appreciated. The backyard was great for little kids and very safe, the house is very spacious and all the little extra details that Cindy goes to the trouble of providing make for the perfect getaway. We hope to stay again next year. Thanks so much Cindy, if we could give more stars we would!!!

Mini break in Port Fairy

This is our second stay at Wood n Shores and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely house, in a central location. Easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

Port Fairy Jazz Festival

Fairly new modern spacious home , very clean. The stairs were a challenge with no rail in parts and the colour made it hard to distinguish the edge of each step. Close to the main attractions and quiet.

Love, love, love this house

We’ve stayed in numerous houses in Port Fairy over the years with this being one of the best. This is a beautifully appointed house which is perfectly positioned within a short stroll to local cafes/restaurants, shops and the river. We’re loved our stay and we’re super sad to leave. We will definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay! Our family of 5 loved calling it home. A beautiful house with everything we could possibly have wanted (and of very high quality) all waiting for us to enjoy. We had a great stay at Wood n Shores. The house was exceptionally clean and very well fitted out. Even better in real life than the pictures! Plenty of space for two families sharing and a very convenient location to the centre of town.
