The house is in a quiet position close to the town centre. The old part of the cottage is cute but the modern extension is lovely - spacious, sunny and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms modern and the kitchen very well supplied with equipment for cooks to play. There are two outdoor areas and two living rooms.

Port Fairy Stay

The property was well maintained, clean and inviting. It's perfect for a family or just two. The only concern was the windows in the two front rooms which were in need of replacement sash cords both being difficult to open and shut - dangerous for children. Otherwise, a roomy, lovely place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lily Cottage which is clean, comfortable, very conveniently located and perfect for a relaxing break. We loved the spacious extension which is bright and modern and the hydronic heating throughout kept us beautifully warm. There is a range of cafes and restaurants a short walk away - on well-lit and smooth paths too. But the kitchen would be brilliant if you choose to cook. The garage with remote was a pleasant surprise.

Lounging at Lily Cottage

Delightful house with all modern conveniences, plenty of space and light. Such a shame we didn’t have a chance to stay longer and spend time outside, in the sun with nibbles and wine. Excellent position close to cafes, pubs, shops : a little gem!!
