About this property

A recently restored and exclusive apartment in a wing of the medieval castle of Robella. The castle was originally built in the XIIIth century by the counts of Robella. Over the centuries it has undergone many vicissitudes, wars, sieges and has been transformed and expanded in accordance with the changing needs of the family. The property has always remained in the same family.
On the ground floor the kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed which accommodates two persons and a little bathroom. A staircase leads on the first floor to the master bedroom and a spacious bathroom. A private entrance from the park of the castle leads into the apartment. The apartment is spacious and furnished with antique furniture. It is particularly suitable for a couple or for a family with one or two children who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation. A large swimming pool (Lago di Codana) is available in the nearby village of Montiglio.
Robella, is a small village on top of a hill (420 meters above sea level) and is a good starting point for hiking, visits of artistic monuments, wine and culinary tourism.
It is easily reachable by car from the airports of Turin (1h) or Milan (1.30h).
The location enables you to enjoy a peaceful vacation in a protected environment perfectly safe from the point of view of the current pandemia.

I am a retired university professor (in the field of political science) and I share the ownership of the castle with my two sisters Irene and Gabriella. Our family owns the Castle of Robella since the XIIIth Century and we are proud to preserve the memories of more than 700 years history.

The property has been in the hands of our family since the castle was built. Because of this long connection we are strongly attached to this property and we devote a lot of attention to its preservation and restoration. In this apartment you will feel as one of the owners of the castle.

This apartment is well suited for a couple or a family with one or two children who want to enjoy a peaceful holiday, but also to use it as a starting point for hiking, art or wine tourism. You will be in the centre of a region, like Piedmont, which offers a great variety of attractions. You have the opportunity to experience life in a castle and to have the pleasure to take a walk in a park with century old trees. Upon request the owners might guide you to the top of the tower to enjoy the exceptional view or to castle cellars.
