STUNNING Ocean views, quiet location, newly renovated/ Central Cape Paterson/Wifi
Cape Paterson is a seaside town located less than 2 hours from the City of Melbourne in the Bass Coast Shire. It is a quiet oasis which boasts beautiful beaches and natural surroundings which can equally cater for the active holiday makers, those who prefer to relax or travellers whom wish to use it as a base for further exploration and sight seeing.
Our double storied home rises above its surroundings and boasts some of the best views in Cape Paterson according to locals. Regardless of weather, visitors can enjoy magnificent ocean views/sunsets and connect with abundant wild life with or without leaving the house. Expanses of glass keep you connected to the outdoors with water views from every room. Whales, koalas, kookaburras and more extensive native birdlife have all been viewed from our deck.

LOCAL AREA:
Cape Paterson is a quiet oasis which enjoys beautiful beaches.
This includes a Surf beach (patrolled on weekends during Summer), a Bay beach which is sheltered and safe for small children. It also has a pool carved into the rock for visitors to enjoy.
Inlet Beach between the two is popular for jumping from the rocky base into the water and for surfers to enter and exit the ocean. It is fabulous for exploring the masses of rock pools which form along this area also.
There are plenty of walking/running/biking tracks along the coastline in town and in surrounding areas.
A playground, cricket pitch and grass oval is situated at the end of our court.
Wonthaggi is the main retail centre for the Bass Coast and is situated only 7kms away and provides all your shopping needs.
Inverloch, another popular beach town can be found only a 10 minute drive around the coastal road from Cape Paterson. It has a range of retail shops and eateries for the visitors to enjoy including the RACV Resort.

About the host
Your host
Hi I'm Liz. My husband Dave and I are your hosts at High on Ozone #5. We have two teenage children and all enjoy travelling to new areas and spending time by the Sea. We fell in love with this house on first inspection. The views are amazing and regardless of the time of year we LOVE being here. It is a great place to work (I am a teacher and spend my report writing days here), play and relax. We have recently finished renovating the home and have been receiving amazing reviews from our guests. Come and enjoy it
Why they chose this property
My husband used to work in the Bass Coast region which prompted our exploration of this coast. Cape Paterson was not familiar to us although we had been familiar with the close by town, Inverloch. Our first trip into Cape Paterson confirmed immediately for us that this was the place to be. The beaches are amazing, the town enjoys a relaxed and friendly ambience yet everything you need is close by in the town Wonthaggi (7kms from Cape Paterson). The local Cape Tavern will even cook for you and the meals are excellent!!! But best of all are the views from the comfort of our home. This house can be enjoyed regardless of weather or seasons.
