Imea Blue Welcome to the Beach House, Where Happiness Comes in Waves

Located less than 100 metres from the lovely Black Head beach is this great 2 bedroom townhouse with ocean views, featuring a well equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, stove & oven.
Other features of this property are single carprt, outdoor table, washing machine, dryer, bath & shower & BBQ. Great for a perfect beachside holiday, Imea Blue is also located approximately 5 minutes walk from local shops & supermarket. Stay a week or a weekend in Imea Blue and relax and enjoy the breathtaking ocean views.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking.

*Linen is provided- *Please ensure if you choose to book this property, that the correct amount of guests are included as linen will only be provided for guests confirmed. PLEASE NOTE: Linen for bunk beds will be supplied but top & bottom bunks will NOT be made up.*

Location great, accommodation overall okay. It’s 2025 to not have wi-fi or air con is sad. Only 2 pedestal fans, 1 of which did not work. And photos of accommodation was very deceiving.

Great location and view

This accommodation met all of our needs. The house was clean and tidy. the view was nice. the location was fantastic, close to the beach and the local shop.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As in the past we had a great time at Blackhead. There were a few broken bars on bunks and wall sockets and some of the bedside table lights are broken but the new air fryer was a great addition and helped for quick meals.

Great location at a lovely beach

Fantastic location. The property is clean but lacks some of the nice touches. The queen bed was comfortable enough but the bunk beds were very uncomfortable and noisy. This place would be perfect with a few small changes. We had a great holiday.

Kids learnt an important life skill of washing up! Loved that we could see the beach from almost anywhere in the house and hear the waves. Central to shops and dining options- didn’t need to get in the car all week.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful location and a good house that is in rough and ready condition. The main bed was comfy and clean. The oven is possibly over 60 years old and only cooks the bottom of food. There is an air fryer and an electric pan which kind of compensate. I will say be careful of the driveway which needs repairs if your driving a sedan, impossible to drive over without damaging the undercarriage and I would ask the owner to have the cleaner vacuum under the lounges please, they are very easy to move and dust mites are horrible! That said, its really a reasonable place for the price, with a few fixes it would be brilliant.

No attention to detail floor mats full of sand, dirty windows and tracks very hard to open sliding doors,entry from street damaged front bumper,lots of outdoor rust.Broken towell rail,side railing on top of bunks broken unsafe.Great position to beach lovely and quiet just very disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at Imea Blue Black Head Beach, nice and close to the beach, lovely views of the ocean, nice and quiet and nice walks to shops and pub/clubs. The overall condition of the property is quite old, the flyscreens were all patched and very worn as were the sliding door to balcony and the outside BBQ was old and rusty so we didn't use that. Otherwise the unit was fitted out well with all essentials for the kitchen etc. Will definitely be back again.

Peaceful Retreat

Nice house, well equipped and close to the beach and rock pool. Quiet place to detox and unwind from the big city. Plenty of space to spread out. The place will need some maintenance soon, but serves well as a 'beach house'. One comment: Would have been nice to have a few basics supplied, there was no toilet paper, dishwashing liquid or even basic pantry items (salt, pepper, sugar) but maybe this was a Covid thing. So a trip to the local shops. Also wifi would be helpful, as the local phone reception is quite poor.

Brilliant location

We thoroughly enjoyed the space in this house but were alarmed by the power point that was hanging off the wall in the second bedroom,the front fly screen that was off its’ hinges and the light switch at the front door that twice gave a shock to family members. One blind couldnt be raised, making the bedroom unnecessarily dark. This house needs a lot of maintenance to make it safe. The beds were all comfortable and we appreciated having a washing machine and dryer available as we were in constant rain. The rock pool was a great bonus for us all. We had a great view of the beach and could walk everywhere. The agent was always available and helpful.
