Towering pine trees surround Bear Valley Village, home to your 1,300-square-foot cabin. If you’re visiting in the wintertime, strap on the snowshoes and skis, or opt for the available snowmobile service to access this secluded, snowy abode!

Warm up after a day on the slopes by tossing a log into the wood-burning fireplace! The chef in your crew will have no problem whipping up an après-ski snack in the fully equipped kitchen, which you can enjoy with a movie on the flat-screen TV in the open-concept living space.

Summertime guests can fire up the charcoal grill for some late-night burgers and beers beneath a blanket of stars! Don't forget to throw a load into the in-unit laundry machines so you can grab your ski gear and hit the mountain first thing in the morning!

-- THE LOCATION --

This secluded mountain retreat resides just a short Quarter-mile walk from the heart of Bear Valley Village, where you'll find a general store, lodge, snowmobile rentals, and world-class trails for cross-country skiing!

Cruise along snowmobile trails leading right up to your door, or head over to Skyline Bear Valley Mountain Resort for some adrenaline-pumping downhill skiing only 5 miles away.

Summertime visitors will enjoy easy access to an abundance of Alpine County's outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, mountain biking, bouldering, and more!

Locals recommend half-day hikes such as Bloods Ridge and Inspiration Point, which are only a few minutes' drive away! Make the 4-mile trek to Lake Alpine for a leisurely day of kayaking or boating on a rented watercraft.

Winter Wonderland
Booking this cabin was easy. The cabin was perfect in size, location, very well maintained and well equipt with everything you need for a winter getaway! Kids and adults had fun playing in the snow and building a snowman with the snow right outside the cabin, or just enjoying the amenities, wifi, cable, boardgames, etc. Plus the general store is nearby for any extra needs of food/snacks/ and winter gear. Would highly recommend and can't wait to spend another winter vacation here as well as a summer stay!

Great Fishing Getaway
Quaint 70s-style cabin in very nice surroundings. Even though the property was a bit dated it was very clean and had all the accommodations needed for a pleasant stay. We used it for our annual “guys fishing trip” and it was great. The fishing at Lake Alpine was a blast and easy to get to from here.

Cabin Stay
Great little cabin. Had a good snow storm about 18 inches. Only downfall cabin is all electric and power went out about12 hour. Wood stove needed chimney cleaned so we couldn’t use. Had a cold night. Overall great little cabin.
