Lovely 1 BR/ 2 BA condo in charming Duck, NC. This second-floor condo is perfect for couples or small families. It features a spacious living room w/ sleeper sofa, an updated, well-stocked kitchen and dining area, master bedroom with queen bed, two full baths, and a bunk bed alcove in the hallway.

Enjoy beautiful ocean views from the large deck! Oceanside: our beach access is on the property with no roads to cross. Just a short walk across the lawn and you're at the water.

Free WiFi, flat screen tv w/ cable, books, and games are provided.

Colony by the Sea is an easy 15 minute walk to the Village of Duck with restaurants, shopping, and a beautiful sound-side boardwalk! The community has an oceanfront pool (open seasonally, weather permitting) w/ outside showers, sundecks, a new play area, tennis courts, grills, and picnic tables. It also has a boardwalk/ stairs across the dunes and private community beach access.

Please note this is a second-floor condo in a building with no elevator. (Four half-flights of stairs) You have one reserved parking space directly next to the stairwell. (Additional parking is available in the west lot.)

NEW FOR 2024 - LINENS ARE PROVIDED. There is a laundry facility on the ground floor of the building. NOTE: BEDSPREADS AND PILLOWS ARE IN THE UNIT, BUT PLEASE USE YOUR DISCRETION AND BRING YOUR OWN BLANKETS AND PILLOWS IF YOU WISH.

Great condo in Duck

My wife, 2 kids (6 and 8 years old) and I spent a week here. The space was clean, everything was just as it was listed, and very close to the pool and beach access. The owners were quick to respond any time we had a question. We had a great vacation here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not as much of a view of the ocean as we would have liked, but just a short walk to the beach, and at least in May, it was not crowded. Kitchen well equipped and very comfortable over all.

Wonderful Spring time vacation!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment’s location is ideal with its close access to the beach on one side and easy walk to the quaint village of Duck on the other. We took advantage of many of the available amenities: tennis courts, grill, laundry all met our needs. Our teens were disappointed but the poor condition of the basketball court.

Older property, but good location & clean. We did not realize that bath soap or gel & shampoo was not provided. We had shampoo. Stopped in at one of the markets - they had no soap & told us there were no grocery or drug stores in town, but to check the hardware store, which had one brand of soap bars. We later stopped by another of the local markets - which I would have considered a grocery store. They had multiple options for soap & bath gel. Receptacles in both bathrooms not working. We also thought the family room ceiling fan & light not working, but on the last night we discovered the switch was next to the deck door!

Anniversary Getaway

Enjoyed this little condo for a quick Anniversary getaway. The beach was wonderful as was the shell collecting. The condo was all we needed. Hate to bring up any negatives but the mattress left a lot to be desired, and the location of the Washer Dryer underneath the complex was not convenient for these old knees. However, duck NC is a great place to just get away and the comfort we did have at his condo was all we needed. thanks for making this available.

Good location, mediocre property.

Property owner was great, very responsive, and helpful. Bathrooms are very very old. Hallway shower enclosure was broken up and patched with glue, very ugly scene indeed. Bottom of the shower there was mold. Common laundry room was very dirty. Common bathroom near the pool was absolutely filthy and unbearable. They definitely didn't take care of the cleanliness of the common areas at all. If you are looking for just an okay apartment then it is okay. But it is not fancy at all. Pictures definitely look a lot more amazing than the property. But great host.

The host was extremely accessible, always quick to respond to a question. It has an ocean view and was convenient to everything we desired. The condo is neat and clean with easy access to the beach. If you have difficulty doing stairs, then I would not recommend but it worked out great for us.

We enjoyed our stay. I would have liked to have a washer and dryer in the condo and I would recommend leaving more than one bath towel per person. The condo was clean and comfortable and the view of the ocean was lovely.

We had an amazing stay. Perfectly sized for our family of 4. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully shared, even things we hadn't planned on - a blender, let's make frozen drinks!! Incredible. Really appreciated having two full bathrooms, with a tub option too. Spent lots of time on the balcony just listening to the waves, so relaxing. Ample games, books, movies for rainy weather. The beach access was so very perfect. Enjoyed lots of time in the pool too. The stay was everything we needed and made us fall in love with Duck! The arrival and departure process couldn't have been easier and the owners were so responsive!
