This bright, charming cottage is just steps from downtown Saugatuck and all there is to explore in the center of the action; you're just one block from restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, playground, tennis courts, art galleries, and endless entertainment - just park your car and relax! Oval Beach, among the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in the Nation, is a short bike ride, a 5 minute drive, or take the Chain Ferry across the Kalamazoo River and walk! Known as “The Art Coast of Michigan”, there are galleries galore to explore. The Saugatuck Center for the Arts offers performances that are among the best in the region. Easy drive to the many local golf courses, hiking in Saugatuck Dunes State Park, Fenn-Valley Vineyards, Crane's Apple Orchard, Dune Schooners rides and other area attractions.

I am a retired high school teacher who has lived in Saugatuck for 40 years. I enjoy spending summer afternoons at the beach, gardening, and sitting on my porch while visiting with friends and family.
Why they chose this property
This historic house was moved from the lumber boomtown of Singapore in the 1860's. We completely restored it in the 1990's and updated everything in 2019.
What makes this property unique
Located in "On the Hill" in downtown Saugatuck. Two blocks from shopping, dining, and dock strolling, playground yet away from it all in a cozy historic neighborhood.
