Lovely little house in a very quiet part of Swansea.

There is a small back yard so some parking for you car .
This is a pet friendly property so you can bring your fury friends along. Please pick up after them and make sure they don't annoy the neighbors. Like I mentioned earlier it is a very quiet street.
There is a small fenced back yard so a little parking for your car. But a good area for your dog.

We have small ( Container) bungalow at the rear of the property. we stay there from time to time, but you will have total privacy in the house.

Cosy cottage

My clients loved their stay here. Close to beautiful beaches, short drive to the town and had everything they needed. Very hard to find dog friendly accommodation in Swansea, thank you Ian for opening up your cottage!

Swansea short break

The property was neat and clean and close to all beaches and amenities. Our little dog loved it too! Owners were so nice. Would recommend to anyone!

Hi Tamara, I am so glad you enjoyed your time at our property in Swansea. The beaches are really close and offer a range of beach types - all with white sand. Some with rocky areas others just sand. I hope you tried out the dog socialization area at the end of the main beach, that's a good place for small dogs to hang out with other small dogs and for the bigger dogs to hang out with the ones of similar size. Relaxing and quiet stay in Swansea

We found the property was most suitable for our needs. It was located in a quiet neighbourhood, with easy walking distance to a couple of spectacular beaches. Our two labradors loved it! The home was extremely comfortable and easy to find. We had a super time in Swansea and will return again.

This house is clean and well equipped. It is however an older dwelling and boasts tired fixtures. It was comfortable in mild weather as a 4 night base to explore the region.

Very quiet rural neighbourhood. Clean, comfortable cottage with all the amenities needed for a week long + visit. Good location for day travelling to different sights in the region. Beautiful quiet little spot

Home away from home

The purpose of our stay was to exhibit at a local event. This house served us perfectly. It was perfectly located on the very south side of town - near our event. It had all the comforts we needed. It was presented perfectly and Ian’s communication was excellent. We’ll be staying there again next year.

Very comfortable house on a great location

This was a very enjoyable stay. The house is big, very comfortable, with every amenity you could wish for, including a big fridge/freezer and a modern laundry machine.Ian is a very nice host, ready to help and give advise when needed. Great location!! You can go to the beach nearby and see fairy penguins just after dusk. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable house with everything you need

Although it is an older style house, it is a very comfortable and self contained. Access was good and it is a quiet suburb very close to a beach. No internet provided but mobile coverage was good on Optus and fair on Telstra so internet hotspots worked well. Owner communicated well with us before our arrival.

Tranquillity

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ian's peaceful. Just the getaway we were after. The nearby beaches and easy walking streets were perfect for our daily outings. The cottage is clean and has all the amenities - the coffee machine and smoothie blender were much appreciated! As was the suitability of the house for my daughter and little dog. Highly recommend Ian and his cottage for your next getaway!

A home away from home

From our first contact with the property owner, everything was without fault. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is neat, tidy and comfortable, and situated in a quiet street allowing for complete relaxation. We were close to fantastic beaches where we spent hours walking with the dogs. The homely touches of having breakfast cereals and milk in the fridge were appreciated. The centre of Swansea with its cafes and shops is just a short drive away. This place is outstanding value for money and we will be back.

My wife Jan and I are local Tasmanians.
I was born and raised in Hobart and Jan is a country girl from Oatlands. A farming community in the Tasmanian Midlands.

We have stayed in Swansea as a holiday destination now for nearly twenty year. We just cant get enough of it...

The scenery is second to none. There are a lot of facilities in and around town:
The out door gym, just off the main road over the bridge as you approach Swansea from Hobart. This is a council initiative - do a circuit.
There is a Golf course on the point. If you don't have any clubs and you would like a hit around there are clubs available from out side the club house. Free to use, balls included and Tees. Doesn't get better than that.!!!Oh you still have your green fees...

Want to see some wild life? Black Cockatoos, Native hens, Parrots, Wattle birds, Magpies and many more feathered fledglings. We have a Sea Eagle that patrols the beach and can be seen at the end of the street at about 4 Pm some times. Get down to any of the beaches in the evening and see the local Penguins returning from a days fishing. You will also see many varieties of sore birds.

What makes this property unique

A time to chill out. Enjoy walks to the 4 beaches within 500 meters. Wild life, Oyster catchers, Native plovers, Sea Eagles, Native Magpies and not to forget the tiny Fairy Wrens popping about in the yard, these little guys really like the area around the house.
