We spent 3 days here and felt like we were at home. We thought it was a lot of home for the value. The fireplace was awesome! The location can't be beat. I would have any of my friends or family stay here.
Great place to stay. Our second year in a row. Beautiful view. Beautiful cabin. A few things could be repaired like the bathroom vanity downstairs, but overall a beautiful place with a beautiful view. We love this Pine getaway here.
We were so comfortable in the spacious home. We enjoyed seeing elk, stellar jays, and amazing views from the porch.
The kitchen was randomly stocked, so be sure to bring everything you need.
This was our second stay at this property. Our family loves the cabin and location. If a cozy and relaxing cabin with plenty of space, quiet, and amazing views are what you desire, look no further! Owner was extremely communicative and helpful in a tough situation, and earned our trust and appreciation. Go for it!
This home is very nice and comfortable. It's in a very nice gated neighborhood with breath-taking views. I'm not sure I would want to navigate the roads with snow or ice present as they were twisty and hilly. There were a few items missing that we would have liked to have had available, but the owner worked with us on the issues to our satisfaction. Overall, a really nice home!
My 4 day vacation was canceled
Dirty,Dirty no Internet,no tv,no shower, bed was broke and cut my leg walking by it.rotten food in frig.
Thanks for making mt trip a disaster!

Beautiful home and views, awful beds and bad cleanliness.
Honestly the property was 100% worth ever little issue that we encountered, but the beds made this stay awful. It was like sleeping on a $20 mattress with the worst pillows I’ve ever tried to sleep with. My fiancée and I had made a huge pile of ALL the pillows in the house and it still wasn’t enough. The views were to die for and the neighborhood was very nice, close to others but you couldn’t really tell.
This home is beautiful with an enormous amount of potential to be 5 stars. I imagine the owner does not check up on his property or cleanliness, I’d imagine they would not be happy with the cleaning crew/management of the property. The cleaning crew and overall maintenance of the property was lacking. We booked a 4 day stay with 6 adults and there were only 3 rolls of TP, not something I thought to bring stock of. The town market only had one roll, of course, our luck. The downstairs fan doesn’t work and the vacuum is broke. We tried cleaning up but lacked the tools to keep the home as clean as we would have preferred. We wish the kitchen was better stocked with necessities, which would include a can opener. We had a terrible time trying to open cans, it’s the little things that started adding up and made the experience a bit challenging. Overall, great location and beautiful setting!
This cabin is so nicely built and spacious! The common areas are comfy and a cozy fireplace and panoramic view enhance the beauty of Rim Country. We will stay here again in a heartbeat. Great communication with the owner/manager. This ticked off all our boxes and made for an excellent spring break vacation for our family.
Beautiful cabin, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen was not very clean and the cabinets/organization was incredibly poor in the kitchen. Do not plan to make meals unless you bring what you need to cook. The pans in the cabinets were dirty. Laundry room was nice but had things in the dryer and washer. The pictures do no do the cabin justice, it is very pretty. We did also run out of toilet paper and couldn't find extra rolls.
Beautiful cabin it would have been nice if the upstairs shower worked.
Was clean but just be aware to bring your own to and such the upstairs shower wich is the nice one we were asked not to use. A bit of an inconvenience. But barnacle if we had more with us it would have been difficult. They did not tell us until we were ready to check in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our annual Girls Weekend at the Rim Retreat Cabin in the Pines. The home is beautiful, clean, and check in and out was very easy. We loved watching movies with the fireplace going in the evenings, and sitting out on the deck with the beautiful view during the day. Thomas was very responsive to any questions we had. You can't go wrong with this great home in Pine.
Our week long getaway at the Rim Retreat was just what we needed to reset from the day to day hustle. The cabin is spacious and the location is perfect. We awoke to elk in the yard every morning and were able to walk to town for necessities.
Our only criticism would be the cleanliness of the cabin and the Wifi. We were expecting the wifi to be spotty based on previous reviews so we were prepared and our mobile hotspot worked fine for what we needed.
Overall, we would definitely stay at the Rim Retreat Cabin in the Pines again.
The property is even better than the pictures. It was beautiful, clean and easy to access. The deck is a wonderful place to sit. The host was responsive and very kind.
Just a note - We could not get the tv to connect to the internet and the WiFi was very spotty as the listing states.
Had a great time with the family. I have never stayed in that side of Arizona and I will defiantly will be going back. Cabin was great and the trip was awesome. Too much to do in just a few days.
