If you're looking to get away from it all, this private palace on a 2 acre estate sits atop a breeze-catching bluff right on the beach. Come here to get away from the crowds and enjoy the quiet that is the East Cape, just 18 miles from Los Cabos International Airport.

Our caretakers can also provide delicious meals on site for reasonable prices. Imagine breakfast & dinner with home made salsas, tortillas, rellenos, enchiladas & aguafrescas prepared for you as often as you wish. Mexican & El Salvadorean food are on the menu with lots of fresh fruit & vegetables.

Very private and safe. Gated. Eco-friendly. Perfect place for birders, fishermen, surfers, wind or kite surfers, or anyone who loves nature, the beach & the ocean. Great place to relax & enjoy life. Humpback whales breach out in the "front yard," Osprey cruise right in front of the poolside, Wrens, woodpeckers and cardinals flutter through the palms & Roadrunners tear through the cactus in the desert arroyo.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, making this the perfect getaway to share with friends, the whole family, or the extended family. Seasoned by a storied history of family reunions, we provide games, tools, balls and books for the young & old. Think ping pong, soccer, volleyball, badminton, paddleball, disc golf, bocce ball. Wifi onsite and a DVD library.

A short walk to one of two restaurants in the village with live musical entertainment on Saturday nights. A second restaurant, in an unbelievable setting, is a two minute drive away.

Cabo Pulmo National Park, the best place to dive or snorkel in Baja, lies a short drive to the north. Better and more full of colorful tropical fish than Hawaii. Check out the miles of coral reef and with luck swim into a famous "fish tornado." Back on shore, enjoy hiker & mountain biker trails and the fantastic desert landscape.

Head south to a series of great surf spots, as well as coves to swim & beaches to explore.

Longer field trips will take you swim with the whale sharks, learn to kiteboard or even, if you are lucky, actually reach out & touch the grey whales.

A great spot for a family reunion, the place feels big, and lives big. The "Palacio" can accommodate a good sized crew.

Our property manager is available to make your stay comfortable and provide information on local services and activities.

Activities, yoga instruction, massage or spa, daily cleaning & catering services available at additional charge (advance notice required). You may even pre-order family meals from our wonderful caretakers.

Wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful stay. We were two families (with two 13yos and two 10yos) and had a wonderful time swimming in the ocean and in the pool, walking on the beach, playing volleyball and horseshoe, and watching the whales and birds. Leo and Gaby were wonderful, very responsive and caring and the dinners were amazing!

Beautiful, remote house on the beach with infinity pool, outdoor shower, BarBQ, surfboards, WiFi, etc— all the amenities you need for a fun time with friends and family. The on-site property manager who speaks great English was able to answer all our questions. Loved our stay. We’ll be back!

Where the stars are scattered thinly

Check out the rooftop at night and you will be blown away by the clarity of the heavens. The stars are so clear! Great place to bring the family, unplug, swim, surf, fish, drink, eat, and be merry. Cabo done right.

Wonderful getaway

This was a beautiful property - perfect for what we needed, complete relaxation and quiet. Property manager was great, and Leo was really helpful and kind. You can get to the property with a normal car, the road is very manageable if dry. The views and beach were stunning, whales breaching offshore, and rays jumping. A very special place. We will definitely be back!

Amazing start to new year, watching hump back whales breach, fishing in the surf and via a charter arranged by house manager, eating Gabby’s delicious regional cuisine. Book your own car because its deliciously remote, and ypu may want excursions like we also did, between lounge chair naps to the sounds of waves crashing . Cant wait to return!

Great Stay

Property is amazing. Lots of gear for snorkeling, surfing, playing on the beach. Pool was a bit on the cold side for our youngsters, but they managed ok. Leo is the best! Enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant a short walk down the beach. Road is ok for regular car, but good clearance and all wheel drive is probably best.

Interesting experience

We enjoyed our stay. Isolated and peaceful. Comfortable bedrooms. Nice kitchen. Lovely outdoor patios. Spartan main room but we spent all day outside so that didn’t matter. No tv which didn’t bother us. Quiet beach. It felt good to live off the grid. Make sure you do a big grocery shop when you land because it is a significant trip to return for more groceries.

So many whales!

Casa Perfecta exceeded our expectations! The house is beautiful with an amazing view. We literally saw 20 + whales and their calves breaching out of the water every day that we were there! It was mesmerizing! Leo and Gabby made dinner for us 2 nights, and the food was delicious. The surf near the house was perfect for surfing, yet the smaller break right in front was great for swimming. We'll definitely be back!

Can’t speak highly enough about all of it!

From first contact to check out - perfect. The host was so accommodating with all of my questions (&I had a lot!!). The property manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, always there if we needed him. The house is stunning - the beach was perfect. All information given was on point, exactly as described. We woke up to the most perfect ocean view every morning, listening to birds and watching countless whales cresting on the sparkling sea. Words cannot even describe how much we enjoyed every day we were here. We did hire Demaris to cook our meals while we were there and they were soo delicious - some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Mexico. Definitely recommend going to Villa Del Faro, only a few kms down the road - gorgeous property, excellent food and drinks. It was an event of its own! I hope to return one day - Casa Vinorama is heaven.

Perfect!

A gorgeous home, beautifully decorated and the layout is perfect for a group/family. We prefer rentals vs a hotel and this home offered everything on our wish list. We always rent a 4x4 car in SJD, to go off the beaten path (Cabo Pulmo, etc) so the rental was easy for us to access and we prefer to stay away from the crowd. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful Off-Grid Paradise

This property is as-advertised. Beautiful location on the beach. Great surf fishing for experienced anglers. We can't say enough about Leo the caretaker. He definitely enhanced our experience. Having an AWD/4WD is essential. Very comfortable accommodations. Be mindful that it is solar which was a plus for us. Last but not least, we can't leave out our four legged ambassadors Diva, and Bear. They were a pleasure to have around. We will definitely be coming back!!

My wife and I stayed at this home for 5 nights. We had an incredible stay and wished it would have been for longer. The house is clean and well appointed, the caretaker Leo was always available and the beach the house sits on is beautiful. Nothing as far as you can see to the north. A few homes and the hotel VidaSoul to the south. We saw two other people on this beach our entire stay. During our stay we surfed, explored nearby beaches, went diving in Cabo Pulmo and had a few great meals prepared by Naomi.

Best house EVER!

This might be my favorite house we’ve stayed at yet!! The kitchen is amazing, has everything you could need. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, lots of extra space to stay as well. The property is private and gorgeous. That palapa is awesome and perfect for lounging. I loved the inside and outside dining options. My favorite thing was whomever designed this house took into account wind flow; we didn’t need the A/C at all!! Leo is an amazing property manager, there we needed him but invisible the rest of the time. My only recommendation is this sight needs up to date photos because these don’t do it justice! I really wish I could just live there forever!! Thank you so very much for sharing your home♥️

Absolute Perfection

We had the most peaceful and wonderful stay - wished we had booked for another week! The home was impeccably clean upon arrival. Leo and Zindy are fantastic and her homemade meals delightful. Fortunately we have friends who live very close by and did some grocery shopping for us ahead of time. Prepare to settle in and just enjoy being here because you will be quite remote. We for sure hope and intend to return as long as Mark will have us! Thank you Mark and family for a wonderful place to land and unwind!

Perfection

Our expectations were exceeded for this property. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool everyday. The boys (13 and 15) spent countless hours in the ocean right out front- surfing, swimming, snorkeling, spear fishing. Leo and Zindy and their son Kieran were great hosts and the nicest people. I recommend purchasing some of Zindy’s dinners- out of this world! She made special vegetarian versions for me and they were all delicious. The owners provide access to all kinds of beach gear which we really appreciated. This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thanks for having us- we will be back!

I am a teacher, realtor & real estate developer. I had my first place in Baja in 1975 & have loved returning and learning the language, the culture, the landscape & the seascape ever since.

Why they chose this property

I have loved travelling, living & working intermittently in Baja for more than 40 years. I love the feel and freedom of the wide open spaces & the unique & beautiful desert flora and fauna. I know the landscape well and have found the East Cape to be pretty darn close to paradise. When I worked as a college professor in La Paz I dreamed of finding a place to relax & enjoy all that Baja had to offer. This is that place: the treasure at the end of that search.

What makes this property unique

Back in the early 70's, when San Jose Del Cabo had only one hotel, I rambled up the dusty coast road towards Cabo Pulmo in search of adventure. At first I was disturbed to see all the "tire tracks" on the beach. Then I noticed depressions in the sand where sea turtles had laid their eggs the night before. I spent the rest of the day hiding these egg nests by covering the turtle tracks. It took me hours & hours because there were so many nests. I fell in love with this wild & beautiful tropical desert paradise.
Fast forward to 2018 when I woke up on one of those same beaches and found to my delight a whole new batch of sea turtle tracks and nests. Still wild, still remote, still beautiful, but now I share it with guests regularly.
It is only a matter of time before civilization discovers this stretch of coast and the paved road paves their way. Until then I aim to enjoy it, treat it with respect & share it with other like minded travelers.
Now I sit on the patio & watch the moon rise over the Sea of Cortez, happy as a clam.
