Enjoy a well-deserved break in this impressive beachfront duplex at laidback Fingal Bay. A lift between the floors and an accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower and grip bars for the toilet make this a great option for less mobile guests.

Across the road, just steps from your front door is the southern end of Fingal Bay Beach, known to the locals as 'Kiddies Corner' as the calmer waters are ideal for small children to swim, and a boat ramp to launch your vessel. The pristine white sand beach winds along the coast, offering endless opportunities for swimming, past the popular surf beach in front of the surf lifesaving club (patrolled in season) and up to the famous Fingal Spit. The spit can be crossed at low tide (with caution, check times with surf club) to view the ruins of the outer lighthouse residence. Just 350m from your duplex you will find walking trails at Barry Park, and a lookout where you can watch humpback whales migrate north from mid-May to August and south from August to mid-November with their newborn calves. The local restaurant, cafes, grocery shop, a fantastic children's playground and great tree-lined pathways for walking and bike riding are all at your fingertips. Shoal Bay is just 3.5km away and Nelson Bay is a short 6.5km drive.

This 2-storey, contemporary duplex is perfectly positioned, overlooking the pristine coastline, with strategically designed windows drawing the beautiful views in. Boasting all modern inclusions, it has ducted air-conditioning and lovely polished floors upstairs and split systems in the downstairs bedrooms. It also features a sleek, fully equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with a large LCD TV & DVD, plus free Wifi, and the property has a Foxtel dish so you can bring your own box with you and have access to Foxtel.

The property even comes with its own lift, giving you peace of mind with elderly or disabled guests and the convenience of transporting your luggage or shopping upstairs. There are 2 balconies, one with magnificent water views and another private one overlooking trees. Both feature quality outdoor furnishings and a BBQ, and are perfect for outdoor dining with the best view in town.

The master bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bed and ensuite with a roll-in shower, as well as a single trundle bed in the robe, and the other 2 bedrooms are downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds. An internal laundry with washer and dryer and double lock up garage completes this magnificent holiday property.

Great location
This property was perfect for our needs as we attended a wedding in Fingal Bay. It comfortably accommodated our family, and the location was great. The view, and the closeness of the beach was a bonus. Be prepared though to take all necessities. Linen was provided, but no toiletries - not even soap or toilet paper were supplied. A weekend away where you have to take everything including dishwasher tablets, dishcloths and coffee meant trips to the supermarket were required. Be prepared. There is also a lot of stuff in the garage which meant only one of our cars would fit. Street parking was thankfully available.
