Walk to beach, pool & tennis!

If you arrive early, feel free to park at the unit, but please do not go in until cleaning and inspection is completed.

You can walk to the beach & town from this end unit townhome. Unit boasts a modern kitchen (fully stocked with equipment and some pantry items while they last) with breakfast bar. Updated bathrooms. Front and side decks, outdoor shower and garage full of beach fun (4 adult bikes, beach chairs, bicycle cart, ping pong table). Chair & umbrella rentals are also available at the beach.

Bethany Proper Community offers a large pool and tennis/pickleball courts for you to use at no extra fees. Pool is open May (apprx) - labor day weekend. Your car is not needed to enjoy beach or town. There are 2 parking spaces only (one in front of our garage door & the other in front of our deck). Parking in town can be pre-purchased online at www.townofbethanybeach.com.
Bethany Beach is the perfect beach town with the perfect balance of fun for the entire family.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please wash and put away all dishes. Remove all trash from the house to the dumpster outside m.
Return/areange garage items as you found them. Be sure to replace garage door opener & parking pass.
Alert owner of anything broken Leave all ceiling fans on. Set temp to Cool and 75 degrees
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
4 bikes AND Ping Pong Table should be PLACED WHERE YOU FOUND THEM in garage. INSPECTION OF ITEMS upon checkout.
Security deposit is held for at least 7 days. damage/theft will forfeit the security deposit. If inspection is approved, your deposit is auto-refunded
WASH SAND FROM FEET when returning from the beach. Outdoor shower and foot spicket are off the back deck.

Great beach place!

Lovely property with everything you need for a beach vacation! Close enough to walk to the beach every day - the wagon a bikes make it super easy. I hope we get to come back soon!

The house was perfect for our family, and had everything we needed. In a nice location to walk to the beach and to town. Having the bike with a cart was great along with the comfy beach chairs! So nice to not have to worry about packing ours, and the extra beach towels came in handy. The host are quick to respond to any questions, and have this property set up so nice, made for a memorable time for our familys vacation.

This was a great property. House was clean and even ready a bit early for check in. The convenience to the beach and town was extra awesome. The scooters were so much fun to ride as well as having the bike with trailer for taking all necessities to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Accommodating and beautiful home

The property was just a 2 minute bike ride away from the town center which has bike racks everywhere. Owner provided a parking pass as well which works on beach lots and side streets. Large bedrooms. Large kitchen. I would do it all over again. Owner was very easy to work with.

Convenient & Easy

The house is in a great location. The proximity to the beach, pool, and boardwalk was great! That being said, the noise/traffic from Rt 1 was prevalent. The pool and tennis courts were an easy walk. My boys really enjoyed the electric scooters! The only real complaint was that the beds were really noisy and uncomfortable. Other than that, the property was lovely.

Great home, location and communication!

Overall, the property was in amazing shape. We had a small issue with the air conditioner in the property manager immediately jumped on and had a repairman at our door. Jill is extremely responsive and communicates wonderfully. The property is about a 3 to 4 block walk to the beach as well as the Bethany boardwalk. Great location. The home is much bigger on the inside than expected and the property owner provides lots of extras for you and your family. We will be back! Amazing memories, a quiet neighborhood with the added luxury of a pool for days you just don’t want to get sandy. Highly recommend!

Such a great location to the beach, the boardwalk, and to the community pool. This is a property where the owners have thought of everything and make your stay very easy. We will definitely be returning again.

A well stocked and comfortable home with easy walking access to beach. Roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds. Only negatives are that house cleaning was not done thoroughly and patio furniture needs updating.

The house is in a great location. The proximity to the beach, pool, and boardwalk was great! The pool definitely was an asset when the kids were tired of the beach. The property was very clean and had great amenities. The layout was perfect for a family with kids. Having a 2nd tv in the main bedroom really came in handy. The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher, great fridge, plenty of seating, and all the basics we needed to cook meals. Having easy access to the laundry right off the kitchen was convenient as well. The kids also really enjoyed the electric scooters! The only real complaint was that the main bedroom bed was really noisy and uncomfortable. Other than that, the property was wonderful Thank you very much for letting us stay there!

Perfect Getaway

Staying at this property was just what my family needed. The location is perfect as it is close to the beach and boardwalk. The host supplied bicycles, table tennis so on days when it was too chilly to go to the beach we had other activities. My family begged me to request another night because we really enjoyed our time there. The host was responsive and even gave us a few tips before we made it down. We will definitely look for availability here the next time we come to Bethany.

Great Family Getaway - Beach and Pool

Family of 4 (kids 5 and under) had a blast in this house and the core offerings of beach access and community pool. Basically walked to the beach every morning and did the pool in the afternoon until the kids were just spent! Jill even notified us on our arrival day when the rental was available BEFORE the 3pm check-in time. Much appreciated! The townhome has a very functional layout, modern aesthetic, and two good outdoor decks to relax on (although not much privacy on those decks). Great times despite the pandemic. Walk to the beach is basically 3.5 full blocks, but not too bad. The bike with wagon hitch attached was very useful as I would ride all of our beach stuff the few blocks down to the beach and the kids could walk at their own pace (leisurely). Being an easy 10 minute walk from the main drag of Bethany restaurants/shops was nice, but we usually drove as we picked up food to-go. Townhome backs directly up to Coastal Highway which, occasionally brought about loud trucking noises; but after the 1st night, the whirring began to sound like a white noise machine imitating the ocean, which is fairly common and calming in our house. Long way of saying--not really an issue. Ping Pong Table, Scooter, Bikes - not really utilized by us, but could be really nice perks for those with older kids. Thanks again Jill!

Our family has been visiting BB since the 90s. The neighborhood has a pool & tennis courts while being so close to the beach. Take a short stroll to town and boardwalk for activities or linger at the ocean until dinner can't wait any longer. Bethany restaurants we love are Pomodoro for pizza (call around noon for 5pm pizza!!), Ropewalk, The Parkway, Sunshine Crepes & DB Fries (next to Sunshine Crepes). We do not live far away and visit every chance we get. We hope you will Respect & enjoy our place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We walk/bike everywhere - beach, town, pool, etc. No car! This home has open spaces for everyone to be together or have alone time. No one will feel cramped together while on vacation. The community amenities are incredible offering tennis, the pool & a kiddie pool. There is a ping pong table in the garage for the possible rainy days, but we all know it won't rain on vacation!

What makes this property unique

You can literally park your car and never use it while staying here! Walk/bike to beach, walk/bike to town and of course to the community amenities.
