This inviting, single-level home brings you dreamy access to miles of even, sandy beach—right off your beautiful back deck! Just north of Waldport, Sandpiper Retreat is thoughtfully appointed for all your guests. The living room boasts sprightly nautical decor, large ocean-view windows, a cozy fireplace, TV, comfy sofas and a card table for games or snacks. The large outdoor deck is designed as a gathering space, with panoramic ocean views, furnishings and stairs down to a sandy path to the beach. The dining room is attractively formal, with original artwork and a picture window to the sea. The cheerful blue and white kitchen is fully equipped for meals in, or you can barbecue outdoors and dine on the deck.

The king primary bedroom has ocean-view windows; there’s also a queen bedroom and a third bedroom with two twins. A fun, converted-garage hangout for ping-pong tournaments and darts will delight kids and adults alike. Hop in the car for a quick drive to Waldport, with its dramatic, sandy bay and soaring bridge. Awesome Stay

This was a perfect place to stay! Ocean front with a great private path right to the beach! The game room was a hit with my two littles and the whole house was enjoyable for the adults!

Great beach access

We loved our stay here! It's an older home but very clean. Great access to hwy 101 but far enough away to not worry about noise. The ocean is the perfect distance from the house that you can hear it but it's not too loud at night. Lots of fun things for family to do in the house. Would definitely stay again.

Couldn't have been better!

Stayed here for Mothers Day with daughter and grandchildren. Beach access as easy, deck view is beautiful, beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Property!

We really enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is very nice and the beach is just steps away. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice using the BBQ grill and having the pool table/ping pong table was a very nice bonus. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a very nice beach house in a quiet neighborhood. It seemed very private, even though its in a subdivision. Easy checkin, great wifi. Kitchen was well supplied, comfortable living spaces. Great beach access. Id trim some of the foliage that surrounds the very nice, ample deck, and on the path to the beach. One could see the ocean better when sitting on the deck with a trim. The roses smelled heavenly! The artwork in the home is really lovely.

A great gathering place!

This property was amazing with a great deck and ocean view. Literally steps to the beach. The house has plenty of beds and entertainment for everyone. Wish we could have stayed longer! Local shopping is very close. This property has everything you'll need.

Great weekend with family

We all enjoyed the very comfortable home and its surroundings. Pluses were the very short path to the sand and ocean and the gorgeous views through the windows as well as from the large deck with comfortable deck chairs. The ping pong table (placed over the pool table) and the video game in the 'game room' were very popular with all ages.

Ocean front property

The house was perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was short and easy for all of us to use. The furniture was clean and comfortable but the big hit for the kids was the garage game room! We had some rainy days but the kids were occupied. We would highly recommende

Best vacation house yet!

Excellent accomodations, tastefully decorated, best kitchen ever (maybe too many dishes), all the cooking items we needed, plenty of linens and beach towels, new model washer/dryer, and the kids loved the recreation room. The private path to the quiet beach was nice. The neighborhood is very quiet and well away from the main highway. We highly recommend the Sandpiper! Five stars.

Weekend Getaway

Amazing property!Location and views are spectacular!Easy access to the beach and very quiet neighborhood.This house was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids.Spent a long weekend here and enjoyed every minute!The children spent hours on the beach.Beautiful sand for them to play in and large quiet beach to look for seashells,fly kites etc.The house is well furnished and a perfect place to just relax and feel at home.Will definitely be back!!

Great for our summer family stay with the grandparents! Large living and dining rooms were nice for visiting. Location on the beach is a hidden gem just a short hop from Newport. Had the beach to ourselves most of the time.Some suggestions would be to maintain grounds, especially in back of deck. Trimming shrubs would offer breathtaking views of the ocean and sunset. Scenery is obstructed if you are sitting in living/dining rms. A larger TV would be nice, and updated linens/blankets. FYI-if you are bringing elderly guests as we did-bring your own equipment or devices as we did. The toilets are a little low for them. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
