WHITE HERON COTTAGE ! SUPER CLEAN ! SLEEPS 4! First floor primary bedroom with full bath. An addition, added bedroom side and another full bath upstairs. A large vaulted ceiling livingroom. AC cooled. Square footage is now 1,434 !

Peaceful and private 50 feet of picturesque waterfront on Leland Pond yet close to Colgate University, shops, movie theater, restaurants, antiques and only 4 miles to Hamilton ! Only a 5 minute drive to tons of antique shops in Bouckville ny.
Cool off with a swim to our private floating dock or try your luck fishing! Small row boat available. Kayaks available too!
White Heron Cottage has been totally renovated with air conditioning, hardwood floors, freshly painted , new furnishings, and NEW sliding door from living room to deck! Gorgeous high vaulted ceiling in living room.

Relax on the deck overlooking serene Leland Pond and fire up the available grill.
First floor primary bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom.
Second bedroom is upstairs with a queen bed.
All linens provided. Two full baths.

Fully functional kitchen: 5 burner gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, some spices, grill, floating swim raft, dock, deck, parking for 3 cars. Internet and t v also available!!

Great kayaks and paddle boards and tubes to float around this wonderfully calm, scenic surrounded by nature pond. It is a glacial kettle pond which is 50 feet deep in center and a very popular fishing destination.

Just ideal for a quiet getaway.

Cozy cottage on a beautiful lake, very close to Colgate Univ.

This is our fifth year staying at this fabulous cottage. Every year something new is done to make our stay more pleasurable. Annual Eaton Madison Bouckville Junkin’

Second year visiting family & shopping MB antique week. The cottage is perfect for my 90 year old mother. The weather was perfect & we enjoyed 4 evenings looking at the sun setting on Leland Pond. We plan to be back. The cottage is well outfitted, clean, & comfortable. Just lovely.

Relaxing Retreat

We spent 4 days visiting family in the area. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view of Leland Pond. We enjoyed the quiet woodland setting. Communicating with Vera and checking in were super easy. We will definitely stay there again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. It was close to everything for our needs. Outside was beautiful with all the blooming plants & flowers. Inside was very comfortable & appointed well. The back deck was amazing and the pond & trees were beautiful this time of year; we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the deck. Escape to the Lake

Peaceful, clean, modern and comfortable: perfect for our college reunion. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Location is convenient to surrounding areas. Kitchen was well equipped with modern range, fridge, microwave and coffee station. Lovely nautical decor. There was sleeping for six people. Stunning sunsets!

Perfect stay!

We rented this cottage for Colgate commencement weekend and it could not have been more perfect. Close to town on a lovely lake. Cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. We even had a break between commencement events to enjoy kayaking. Thank you!!

Love this Lake Cottage

This place is perfect. We have stayed a couple times while visiting our Colgate student. I only regret that it was already booked for many of our visits. It is right on Leland Pond and has everything you could possibly need- including Kayaks and SUPS and the little lake is so pretty. Waking up to the water views are magical. The place is pristine and the Host is incredibly responsive and so kind and helpful. You will not regret staying here.

I couldn't have found a more perfect fit at Leland Pond. I have three daughters and one granddaughter who will be enjoying the cottage occasionally. Travelers needing a quiet, clean home away from home can rent for 2 days or a week!
