Usually a two night minimum stay. The owner allowed us a one night stay as it was a Wednesday night. Initially I thought it was a little expensive for a Wednesday night- however, breakfast was included, the bed was very comfy and the shower was awesome! With a very short walk to the beach, it was well worth the price we paid.
This is the perfect place for me. Its quiet, close to the beach, work, shops and takeaways. The train station is just across the road so the CBD is accessible without the hassle of trying to find parking.
Perfect location and good amenities and privacy at a good price. We and our dogs always have a lovely stay here, thanks Isy!

Great place to stay with a pet. Enclosed courtyard perfect. Beach just around the corner. Transport opposite. Shops and restaurants very close by. The shower is amazing. We had a lovely stay.
I have been staying at this lovely studio when I travel to Melbourne for work for a couple of years now. It is a very relaxing place, especially after a long day at work. The beach, restaurants, supermarket and train station are within easy walking distance.
Generous studio space with plenty of size to fit me, my 9 year old daughter and our medium sized dog. Everything you might want was provided by our host Issy including drinks in the fridge, towels for the beach plus pillows pillows, so many pillows to sink into. Will stay again.
It was perfect for what I needed. Close to somewhere to take the dog when I arrived and before I left. Easy to get to. Close to dinner options. And close to where I needed to go. Loved that I could bring my dog and the goodies left for breakfast. Neat little space.
Really wanted to love this place as the location is perfect and the place is so cute so would've been a nice weekend get away here and there for us, but there were a couple of issues that were really hard to overlook.
1) Mould in bathroom - We were staying at this place due to a leak and mould remediation in our own house that caused quite a few health issues. So was disappointing to stay with quite a lot of mould in bathroom ceiling and shower.
2) Black liquid running down from the split system. We have no idea what it was so we didn't use it and it was really cold some nights.
3) We were aware from other reviews that there was no sink in kitchenette so we expected it, but didn't realise the cold tap only in bathroom was going to be so far into the corner of the sink that it was almost impossible to use to get any water (or turn off as needed new washer). With a toddler and needing to change nappies and wash hands so often aswell, this difficult tap was very inconvenient.
4) Parking under the tree in driveway left our car covered (literally covered) in a sticky substance the first 2 nights. After paying to wash our car the first 2 days as we didn't want to damage the duco, we had to park in the parking across at the train station or down the road at the parking there. Again quite inconvenient with a 1 year old and nappy bag and things to carry.
5) Scented candles, diffusers and essential oil products were very strong and we avoid all perfumes, scents, essential oils and phthalates for our toddler as they are recommended as not safe before 2 years old (avoid phthalates always). See AAP and pedimoms evidence based research on this, also recommended to be kept away from pets. We tried to close, turn off and put all these things away, but the smell was strong and lingered the entire stay.
This was for a 10 day stay so some of these things will be less of concern or inconvenience for a shorter stay, and overall we decided it was better than staying in a motel. The location and adorable decor brought it up to 3 stars and the attention to detail with shopping bag and beach towels was all a nice touch. Be aware there's a folder with wifi password etc somewhere in the room (was hidden under a pile of books for us) and if you click on the map from stayz and try to navigate from that, it gives you 2 different address numbers.
It’s a very compact bedsit which was great round corner from beach with transport and aldi nearby. It is attached to owners house so there is noise from family and dog. It has a convenient courtyard to stay with a dog. However we didn’t realise there is no water or sink in the kitchen area and the cooking facilities are an old small micro oven . To wash up you have to get water from bathroom and fill a bucket. So I would say it’s ok for a night or two and if you’re not planning on cooking.
My favorite business stay whenever I'm in Melbourne. I love the feel of the studios and its just a couple of minutes walk from Carrum beach, train station is just across the road as is an Aldi supermarket. Plenty of takeaways and restaurants withing walking distance.
This is one of my favourite places to stay whenever I’m in Melbourne on business. It’s convenient to Work great restaurants close by transport to the city is just across the road and they are a huge number of takeaways in the area. If you want to cook your own food, the supermarkets nearby as well love the place.
This is one of my favorite stays when ever I travel to Melbourne. It is within walking distance to shops, a variety of good quality takeaways, public transport and work. ticks all the boxes for me.
This is one of my favourite places to stay when I come to Melbourne. Its a relaxing and private studio close to everything - the beach, restaurants, cafes, shops and transport.
Absolutely fabulous! Close to trains, beach and shops. Fantastic outdoor area and inside has everything possible needed for a relaxing stay. Loved the coffee maker! Great spot for my dogs to be secure while out and just a wonderful relaxing place. The host answered every query. Would stay again in a heart beat!
I booked this stay for my husband, daughter, myself and our small dog for 4 nights over the Christmas period as it was close to our family who live in the area and accepted dogs. The location is very good, close to the beach, Carrum shops and railway station. The studio had a TV with Netflix, air conditioning, comfortable double bed, a single bed, lounge, armchair and kitchen island with stools and everything you need to make light meals. However, the kitchen island area didn’t have a sink. The bathroom was small though met our needs. The studio is attached to a house though it was fairly quiet. We could only hear people in the house when we were in the bathroom. The host was very responsive.Overall it was a good stay.
I enjoyed my stay loved the location to beach and that dog friendly dogs loved the beach. Would have been grate if the was a bbq or small stove top but we managed with our portable gase hotplate that we bringed
This is one of my favourite stays when I travel to Melbourne for work. Close to shops and restaurants, work and only two minutes from the beach - great to unwind after a day of meetings. I'll be back.
Lovely place, with everything you need. Comfortable and relaxing. Secure, peaceful and private. Easy walk to the beach. Owner is lovely - good communication. Would stay again.

Great location
Comfortable accomodation. Air conditioner needs to be cleaned inside and out very dirty.
No other issues
My dog and I compete in agility and almost every weekend we travel to compete. My friend and her farm dog joined us for her first competition as I coach them. We loved the accommodation, we really loved having a dog beach in walking distance and loved the dog friendly pub nearby that really were dog friendly. We all slept really well which meant we both won overall class champion. I will travel extra to book here for competitions that are close and already have. Thank you.
