No parties or events at any time. If you're coming to Melbourne to party, you've picked a great city to do so - just not at our place. Though we're sure it won't come to it, complaints of unruly behaviour will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.
Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law, not so much one of our rules.
Do not tamper with any smoke alarms. Tampering with the smoke alarms will result in fines up to $15,000. If you break or damage something, please do the responsible thing and let us know so we can arrange for its replacement/repair.
Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
Remember to return all keys. Charges will apply for any unreturned keys/ Fobs/ remotes. Upto $500
No noise, loud music, screaming, loud talking outside or inside anytime.
Any breach of these rules may result in the loss of your deposit and the immediate cancellation of your booking.
Please note that we have strict rules as this is a residential building and our personal property. While some of them may seem obvious to you, they are not so obvious to others and we therefore must have a strict policy regarding them. Common decency and respect for others' property is essentially all we're asking. we reserve the right to request a security deposit and / or a copy of photo ID. The property is as its name says, a very clean, well equipped & comfortable apartment nested in the cosy inner city suburb of Malvern.
Conveniently accessed by train/tram/bus to CBD, local amenities;
Friendly & welcoming hosts communicating via messaging, always
answering messages promptly.
The place was exactly how it was described, very cosy and had all the essentials. Location was perfect too as there were nearby bus stops and tram. The only problem we encountered was there were sometimes power outages in the house and most outlets suddenly not working. It was an easy fix, but it happened a few times during our stay. Besides that, everything else was perfect

Just to clarify for future guests: there was no power outage during this stay. The brief interruptions were due to the circuit breaker tripping when multiple high-powered appliances were used simultaneously. This is a standard safety feature, not a power failure, and is quickly resolved by resetting the fuse.

Dissapointing
Smell in property . Entrance up the stairs of the flats was not good . We did not stay in the unit and left within an hour . Understand the stairs are a strata issue but still left a bad impression
My wife and 2 kids stayed here for 10 days recently. It was a great base of operations for our daily excursions to Melbourne's sites. The carpark was handy as was the Netflix and WiFi access. All the things you need are modern and in great working order (TV, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, heat pump, WiFi etc). The stairs up to the apartment are typical of apartment blocks like these, I think the review earlier about this is a little harsh. Docking one star, perhaps harshly, due to the fact the following items were only stocked to last us 2 days, not the 10 we had booked: toilet paper (3 rolls) , washing powder (2 small sachets) , shampoo x1, body wash x1, dishwasher tablets x3, rubbish bags. Otherwise a lovely stay of the youre looking to accommodate a family of 4 and you can convince someone to sleep on the couch bed.
