This cosy and comfortable home sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms with 1 king, 1 queen bed, 2 single beds and a sun bed in the main room, open plan living area with large north facing deck with glimpses of the ocean. Bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave, TV & DVD player, CD player, gas log heating, rainwater, BBQ & outdoor furniture, outdoor cleaning facilities. Decks on Sturt is in one of the most central locations you can get in the coastal village of Robe. A very short walk to the town beach and main street.

It is the dog owners responsibility to ensure their dog is suitably restrained within the enclosed yard premises, Robe Holiday Rentals can not guarantee fencing will be a suitable match with your pet.

Bathroom and bedroom linen is supplied in all our properties for your stay, however we only supply what is required. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decks on Sturt is in a great location. Easy to walk to the main street, beach and walking trails. Unfortunately, the back yard is just weeds not grass, gas heater wasn't working. Decking out the back has steep stairs and no gate. Bathroom needs a vanity unit and shower screen instead of curtain. House could do with a deep clean. (skirting boards, behind heater, under lounges) Property Management were good did send handyman around to look at heater but couldn't fix. House has potential just needs a bit of love.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 4 enjoyed a perfect Robe holiday staying at Deck on Sturt recently. The house was well located & within walking distance to the Marina, Robe Hotel, library & Main Street. It was extremely clean, tidy & welcoming. Our beds were super comfortable, the kitchen & family area roomy & the outdoor deck perfect for most of our entertaining & meals. The Baby Q barbecue was fantastic & there’s a large umbrella for afternoon shade.There’s a smart TV & we took our own modem as wifi is not available. Our little dogs were safe in a large fenced area in the backyard. Sue from Ottoson’s was so friendly & helpful & a handyman popped around the same day to change a bathroom globe. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly another stay here & whilst there’s only one bathroom at least there’s a separate toilet! The views included the little Catholic Church, holiday houses around & of course some stunning sunsets.We hope to return next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice tidy little house, good location. No basic cooking ingredients, no oil, no salt and pepper. The mulberry tree in the backyard had dropped mulberries EVERYWHERE through the entire yard. Kids could not go out the back without getting mulberries all over their shoes/feet. There is no shade over the deck so can’t sit out there in the day. Could not find a power point in the entire front bedroom to plug in a baby monitor, presuming the bedroom does not have a power point?? The blinds in the front bedroom are broken and therefore do not close properly.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good and allowing dogs inside is a bonus. It wasn't the cleanest place, dead insects around and splattered on walls. The outside deck have no shade and also not clean... we booked for 3 nights stayed 2. If you stay be prepared to maur your own beds and pay a $120 cleaning fee on top. It is an older property so we appreciated it would not be pristine, unfortunately the recliners felt dirty, we cleaned these with wipes before sitting on them. The gardens are not watered so the grass is just a out dead, not lush as portrayed in the photo's.

Great house in good location, could easily walk to main area. Beds comfy, house nice. Kids room has a dangerous cupboard that needs repairs.. very wobbly. Overall happy with the house. Nice backyard for dog and kids but needed mowing. Would stay again

Everything was clean and well presented . Would definitely recommend this to anyone as it is perfectly situated and walking distance to supermarket and all eateries. Throughly enjoyable stay

Reviewer Comments: Close to main shopping area and beach but was very disappointed with the condition of the outside deck area, chairs has bird dropping on them(Husband had to wash each chair), sink area like a junk area. Inside Oven door doesn't shut properly, front door stopper broken, blind in double bed area broken, we couldn't open or shut them. The double bed you need a step ladder to get on to it. Our guests slept in the single beds as they didn't like the look of the bed. Very disappointing for $200.00 a day.

The property was well located (walking distance to the pubs and other businesses in the main street) and reasonably quiet. Unfortunately we had a few small issues. 1. The letting agent had given us the wrong code to obtain the keys out of the lock box. 2.Although the property was reasonably clean, there was rubbish (lego and paper) under the lounge furniture. 3. The shower temperature was unable to be regulated (swung from hot to cold- couldn't find 'warm'). I'd suggest a plumber review the shower issue as this alone would discourage me from recommending the property to any friends or family.

A Quiet Getaway

Unprepossessing from the outside, Decks on Sturt had everything we needed, including two lovely north facing decks. Slightly off the main drag but conveniently and quietly located. Very clean and bright inside, comfortable and well-equipped

Poorly maintained

The house is ok on its own but has a lot to desire for cleanliness and maintenance. We had to clean kitchen , bathroom , toilet and around our beds there was dead bugs even on the beds and rubbish left behind from others. We were very disapointed as the price for this property to high for what it is. Have had 5 stars stays for the same amount which is a shame.
