This very large and spacious home is nestled in the scenic foothills, at the base of the spectacular Cheyenne Mountain. Gold View is your home away from home is the perfect place for special family celebrations, work retreats, and your next important gathering. Located in a quiet upscale neighborhood in southwest Colorado Springs, this three level home offers 5 large bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and three living spaces. Enjoy the Rocky Mountains and city views from the expansive deck, or relax in a hammock in the backyard. Be alert, wildlife is abundant and encounters with deer, turkey, bobcats, and an occasional bear are likely. Gather with family and friends in the large kitchen, cozy family room or lower level recreation room. This home offers everything, including a luxury master suite with king size bed, balcony and jetted tub. The nicely appointed kitchen will surely please the cook in your group. Cheyenne mountain stay

The property was in a beautiful location and exactly as described. We saw deer in the backyard in the mornings that we stayed there. Kitchen was very well equipped and the view from the top floor bedrooms was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful Mountain View!

We really enjoyed our time and the house felt like home the 5 nights we stayed! It was in driving distance to all we wanted to do. Loved the quiet neighborhood and we saw lots of deer including a mom and her baby in our backyard! Highly recommend!

Great Multi-generational stay

We stayed at this property for my son's graduation from USAFA. We had a multi-generational family staying, so the amount of rooms/ beds and floors to offer separation-privacy was wonderful. The location was about 30-35 minutes from USAFA. We also had easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, Broadmoor Hotel/ Restaurants, Manitou Springs, Manitou Incline, etc. There are several gyms within 10-20 min (depending what type you are looking for...VASA (10 min) or Pikes Peak Athletics (20 min--it has a GORGEOUS pool/ lap swim available). Everything we wanted to do was within 30 minutes. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. There is a Safeway (Grocery Store) and Coffee shop (Black Bear Coffee) about 1 mile down the hill. Beds were comfortable. There are lots of towels for a large family/ showers, etc. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a grill. The garage is a 3 car garage, so we used that for parking of 2 vehicles. CONSIDERATION: If you have anyone in your party who does not do well with stairs...you may consider another rental. This is a multi-level home with no bedroom on the main floor. There are several stairs to enter the garage or front door entrances. I hope this review helps!

Home away from home

This had a country feel. In the mornings and evenings, a family of deer visited the backyard. There were also fantastic views in the front and back of the home. We also love all the cookware that was provided. This home is excellent for large families.

Spring break

This property is so gorgeous. The view of the Cheyenne Mountains are right out the back and a beautiful view of Colorado Springs is out the front. The house is clean and well taken care of. Plenty of space for a large family.

Excellent home for families

We loved staying in this home during our trip. We were a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, etc. The view was AMAZING! The house was well-stocked with anything we would need from towels to bedding to kitchen utensils. We would highly recommend for families traveling in this area.

Fantastic mountain getaway

Very clean well stocked home in a well positioned location. Close proximity to all attractions and wildlife everywhere. Beautiful view of Cheyenne Mountain out your back door. Great Stay

Overall the house was clean, enough bedrooms and space for our family. Great kitchen and living room area, with a deck with an awesome view of the mountains. The beds were all very comfortable! We really enjoyed our time together in this house. A few improvements could be made to living room furniture which we will send to the management team. Otherwise great stay!

The check in and check out process was easy. The property was just what we hoped for, even the wildlife showed up (every day) to greet us! The property was a little challenging for my mother due to all the stairs, but other than that our vacation was perfect! I will definitely be going through VRBO for our next family adventure!

Perfect for family vacation

We stayed for a week with my sister and her family. We were able to take the 3 rooms upstairs and then the 2 rooms downstairs so it was perfect! There is plenty of common space to hang out and enough plates and items in the kitchen for us to host dinner a few nights for our larger family group that was in town. We had an issue with the internet the first day and the hosts were super responsive in helping to get it fixed. Overall a great place to stay!

This property was clean and had plenty of space for three couples and three kids. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a group of 9 as well. We especially enjoyed the many living spaces, large dining table, and patio. The property managers were quick to answer questions. We would stay there again! There are a lot of stairs, but that was no problem for us. We had a great stay!

Family Christmas in Colorado Springs

Great house very close to my brother's house. Awesome neighborhood. House is well equipped with thoughtful amenities like kid toys and books, full kitchen pots, pans, and utensils, and plenty of seating for everyone. Beds are comfortable and there are many of them. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Beautiful home and location!

This home is spacious and beautiful! It was very clean, had everything we needed and even had some extras for our kids, like a high chair and bouncy seat. We only used some of the space because we traveled with 2 young children but would love to come back with another family in the future. The location was perfect for us to venture out near Colorado Springs during our stay. You can't ask for a more gorgeous view of the mountains from the back of the house!

Graduation weekend

We have stayed at VRBOs across the country and this was one of the best experiences. The house was clean, large, and had an amazing location. We had winter storm come through and we received over 12 inches of snow. They had the snow removal team there first thing in the morning so we could leave to attend the scheduled events. I highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the mountain and city views!

Suburban Home Centrally Located to Colorado Landmarks

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this suburban home in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. We spotted mama deer and their fawns in the driveway and backyard everyday, as well as just driving through the neighborhood streets. The house is surrounded very closely by other houses on all four sides; however, the deck was very private, mostly shielded from the houses next door due to the abundance of trees. The house was comfortable and very clean but could have used some replacements for scratched kitchen pans/utensils, niceties like potholders and extra blankets/throws and softer/thicker towels, as well as some home repairs (broken locks on screen doors, burned-out light bulbs, a running toilet off the kitchen, etc.). The master bathroom was amazing! The WiFi and TV worked fine, as did the heat. The house cooled fine with the doors opened in the evenings for a cross breeze. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip, as was the garage. For guests with mobility issues, a heads up that there are stairs all over the house, due to sunken spaces, and all large beds are located in the basement (except for the master bedroom). The property was just a short drive from Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Zoo, Manitou Springs and hiking opportunities. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Cheyenne Mountain house in Colorado Springs to all.
