Terrible experience - Stay away from this property

I am writing this review as a profoundly bad experience that we faced during 2020 year end family vacation as if COVID was not just enough spoil the year. I generally do not write reviews but the trigger for this writing is not the lack of amenities promised , rather the inaction on the management’s part to handle that amicably. This writing is not from a novice vacationer expecting a 5-start treatment from a Rental vacation properties but from a group that has been very accommodating and reasonable in case things dont work out. The problems started as before the checkin itself as the place was not ready till 4.30 ( check in time was 3 PM ) We were told that at checkin that dishwasher is bad and some one is coming right away to fix it . No one showed up though. We entered the house with a weird stinky smell and some how managed to settle ourselves with Airfreshners and opening a few doors and windows. After a few hours we came to know that the disposal was also malfunctioning and one side of the sink was draining too slow.So there was no way we could do the dished ( manually or dishwasher), We had to rush to the store to get quite a few things (like disposable utensils etc) to sort things out . For the next 2 days there was some communication via text and calls where they created work order for dishwasher replacement etc etc but no action win ground. We even visited their office to complain in person but found it closed ( Some weird policy where Wednesday is a day Off) I could easily point out tons of small small issues like ( faucet pressure , no spoons in kitchen , door locks , most of the glass utensils were chipped) but that does not weigh anywhere against the inaction on management’s part and the cold responses we got from them. I would think a 100 times in future before booking anything with this rental agency

Overpriced for the quality , will not recommend

When we arrived it said checkin at 3:00 , untrue they wouldn't let us check in until 5:30. There was trash everywhere under the beds beer bottles, pill bottles, underwear, and the ceiling fans were caked with dust there were spots of substance on the bed sheets The cleaner had just left when we were able checked in(dont know what they cleaned, but took them forever. We didn’t t get the wifi password until the 4th day.The hot tub they claimed to have were at 65 degrees should’ve just said there wasnt a hot tub available. The jucuzzi tubs didnt work either, no suprise there smh dont know why they had to lie about there amenities i eouldnt have booked here and waited 6 months and paid over # to much for the trip if it wasnt like the internet or ads were stated. I called management and couldn’t get a hold of the owner and was playing phone tag with managment . Highly dislike the home and will never ,never again stay with anything with the word ELLIOT RENTALS AGAIN. The place we stayed at was seaclusion B . The neighbours we unsatified as well in seaclusion A

Great house for a crowd

Loved the amenities here- the game room and pool, spacious laundry room and pantry, and being right on the beach can’t be beat! We particularly enjoyed the picnic table in the shade by the pool. If you stay here, put bath mats on your packing list, along with hand soap, hand towels, dish rags and soap, TP, etc. That was something we didn’t consider and the bathrooms can get slippery when all towels provided were being used, as bath towels. We also had to put the bed linens on ourselves, so factor that in to your arrival plan and don’t wait til all the kids bedtime like we did. The hot tub was not working during our stay and although we called, no one ever came to fix it. However the rental agency was apologetic and we did receive a credit. Just a general note about North Myrtle, not about this house- we could not use our shibumi shade during our visit (July 2021) because there was an “umbrellas only” ordinance- so bring an umbrella for shade on the beach! All in all, our large family had a great week here with plenty of room, TVs and game room fun for a rainy day, and easy beach access!

Reunion Booking

Beautiful location and great views from all 3 balconies. Only concern was the lack of amenities like hand soap and toilet paper. If the renter does not want to provide these items they should at least make note of them so the rentee knows to bring them.
