Lovely short break visiting my son. Property in great location. Property was ok but thought a bit expensive for the age of the decor. Room was 170 a night but with all the add ons the price was doubled.

Hi Frances! Thank you for leaving honest feedback and for saying that you had a lovely short break at the property. It is just disappointing that you had to endure inconveniences during your stay due to the cost involved. I would like to apologize for this, but, we suggest booking during the low peak season to get a better rate that fits your budget range. I apologize once again and I hope that you will still give us a chance the next time you travel to Port Elliot.
Location, location. Just a short walk to all that Port Elliott has to offer.
Our impression of the unit was clean and well presented. We did feel that the bed linen was old and thread bare and needed replacing.

We have stayed ar Dolphins 7 many times. The view is fantastic, walking distance from everything and the unit is fully equipped for everything that you need for a comfortable stay
Overall great property & location. Stairs were a bit of a challenge for one of us but we coped OK.
One aspect of check in process that could do with improvement is visibility of numbers on key lock, Even in daylight we had to get a torch to see the numbers.

Yay! Thank you so much for the 5-Stars rating! We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that, overall, you had a satisfactory stay. We understand that the visibility of the key lock numbers during check-in could use some improvement, even in broad daylight. We'll definitely take note of this and find ways to make it more effortless for our guests. Hope to welcome you back and give you an even more awesome experience!
We had a wonderful time! The view was beautiful, the beds and pillows were comfy, couch was spacious, the linen was clean and fresh, and the kitchen was well organised and had everything you need!
Travelling with young kids, I was a little nervous booking the balcony but I must say I was impressed with the quality and heaviness of the sliding doors (that lead out onto the balcony). I also liked that I could lock with a key if needed but I didn’t because the doors weren’t easy for little fingers to open.
My only critique was the shower water pressure and that the second shower head didn’t work. I provided this feedback to them post checkout.
Overall, we loved it and would definitely recommend apartment no. 7 as a kid friendly little getaway to Port Elliot!

Although this property is in a fantastic location with great views it does not offer much more for the big dollars we spent. The facility in general is old and dated so lots of noise from adjoining apartments. The bathroom and kitchen were in good condition and clean but in the rest of the apartment, the furniture and furnishings were basic and cleaning was not thorough. There were lots of dust bunnies under the beds, dirty window sills, old furniture and TV and bedside tables were in poor condition. Overall accommodation was basic at best.We also had a mix up with our booking and the communication and customer service from Unwind was extremely disappointing and really spoilt our experience and stay. It could have been handled so much better with the same outcome leaving us feeling happy about the service and assistance offered but sadly this was not the case and left us upset about the way it was handled and really impacted our ability to enjoy the remainder of our stay. Our 3 night stay from 26th Jan cost $1312 plus $300 deposit - We could have stayed at the Shangri-La in Sydney for less!!! We would have been happy with the condition it was presented in if it were not for the exorbitant price. We were charged a $ 199 booking fee and a $225 cleaning fee. $300 a night would be a reasonable price to pay but the extra $425 in service fees did not meet the level of service you would reasonably expect for that price. For that price we would have expected 1st class furnishings and fittings, a spotless apartment and superior service. Having said all that, our permanent resident neighbours were lovely and the views and location were unbeatable but we would not book here or through Unwind again.

The check-in and check-out process was so easy and the communication with the team was always quickly replied. The place has a beautiful view and was very comfortable.
Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights. Amazing views, fabulous location. Clean, well kept unit. The second time we have stayed here and we will return.
Dolphins Beachfront Apartment no 7 is wonderfully located, guests can walk to the beach, cafes and the main street of Port Elliot easily!
The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, pans and other crockery.
I would say though, a new couch is needed.

Set I the most beautiful location with plenty to look at and visit on your stay. Initially I was a bit surprised that furnishings were not a bit more up market, but in fact..that made the place feel even more relaxed and welcoming. I would recommend this spot to anyone...there was everything we needed.
