The home was very clean and set up nicely. Super close to everything we needed. Barbara had left some breakfast foods for us and all kitchen utensils we needed were there. I would definitely stay here again!
The house was clean and met our needs well. We had to text the host about a couple things and she responded immediately. She even provided a dozen fresh eggs and bagels for breakfast.

Great House for multiple families
I stayed at this house for a family get together, and it was perfect. The house is close to downtown, so I was able to walk there. Close to the Catholic church. The multiple rooms and bathrooms satisfied the 4 family groups that we brought together.
Enjoyed this place. 6 of us stayed for a bowling weekend. Enjoyed it, relaxing and playing cards. While an older house, it is well maintained and host had stocked with everyhing we needed. Was well worth the price.
Our stay at this house was wonderful. Very clean and space was plentiful. Kitchen contained pretty much anything you would need. The host even provided bagels and coffee for use. Highly recommended staying here!

Girl's weekend
We planned our girls weekend in the Soo to visit my granddaughter who attends LSSU and to watch my grandson play hockey, and it turned into such a memorable trip. The home we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and relaxing — the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.We ate most of our meals out and found several great restaurants in the area. Between cheering at the rink, catching up with family, and enjoying the local food, the whole weekend felt special. The communication with the home manager was excellent. She checked in to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed, which made the stay even better.A wonderful trip all around — we’d definitely come back!
The seven of us stayed there for a conference. We stayed here last year and it was perfect. They made some updates And they did an excellent job. This house is close to downtown which we walk to a few times and did some shopping after the conference.
It has great location, near downtown. It has everything what you need in the kitchen. It's old house, could be renowated a little bit. There's a smell of old house but can get use to it after some time. The bed in one of the downstairs bedroom was very noisy and uncomfortable

Response from VrboOwner on 7 October 2025
From the owner: “I’m glad you enjoyed the location and found the kitchen well-equipped. The home was originally built in 1888 and has been carefully renovated over time, with updates continuing each year. I appreciate your feedback about the downstairs bedroom. That room has since been adjusted for comfort. Thank you for staying and for sharing your thoughts.”
Cute house, clean and comfortable. Lots of room inside. Great communication with the host. Nice location, close to the ship museum and Soo Locks Tours. Some breakfast items were provided - much appreciated. Would stay here again.
The house was very large and comfortable for our party of 6. The property manager, Barbara, was wonderful! Perfect spot - close enough to walk to the lock, but far enough to be out of the crowd.
