Once you book the room, the All Inclusive package can be purchased directly through the resort for approx $110/person/day with kids age 2-12 half price. Occasionally, they have these on sale for down to $99/person/day or kids eat free. You can purchase the all inclusive for as few as 3 days and up to your entire stay. There is a small market on site and a full kitchen if you want to save money. All purchases within the resort are charged to the room which is just as simple as using the All Inclusive, and unless you are drinking a lot of alcohol (or have teenage boys with you who eat a lot), it's often cheaper to just charge to the room. The resort has several good restaurants, the prices change quite a bit. My husband and I have traveled many times to the resorts without all-inclusive and we spend about $50-65/person/day on food/drinks if we are traveling with friends and not cooking in the room. Less if we drink less and do light breakfast/lunch in the room.

Other things to note:
Resort will charge USD$3.50 per day per suite as tips for staff. All purchases on the resort like the restaurants, shops and spa are cash free and will be charged to credit card registered at check-in. The bill can be settled in cash USD or MXN at checkout. All cash tips to individual servers are optional and I personally believe we have the best servers who deserve them.
