The cabin is very cozy and the area is very relaxing and calm. The energy of this property is very chill and we enjoyed the fresh air, cool weather and relaxing vibe of the flowing creek.
The drive into the property does require going either over or through the creek. Maps took us the route of crossing the creek without a bridge, but given the height of the water and entry/exit angles, no passenger car could make that safely. We went the other route and used the bridge over the creek, however given the water level, even the bridge had about 5 inches of water on it.
I’d recommend researching the creek level to be safe, or using a SUV / Truck and have no worries.
The cabin is on a large ranch property with different buildings scattered around and the owners home on the land near by. This specific cabin seemed to have a bunk house attached to it, almost like it was the foreman’s house for ranch hands. There was a common wall shared between the buildings, but no one was staying in the bunk house.
Overall, we highly recommend the property if you seek a nice, cozy property hosted by very friendly and gracious owners.
We were able to go into Sedona and Cornville and eat, explore and enjoy ourselves and also spent time relaxing at the cabin and surrounding property as well.
You should also note, the pool is obviously seasonal, so even if the pictures look appealing, it was drained and not open given the time of year / temperature when we traveled there.
