PSU-Happy Valley Cottage

This adorable cottage style house is located just minutes from Penn State University, 8 miles from Beaver Stadium, 6 miles from Penns Cave, 3 miles from Grange Fair and Peoples Choice Arts Featival! Lock Haven University and Historic Bellefonte are a stones throw away! Enjoy your stay in this quiet neighborhood close to all of your Happy Valley destinations!
All necessities are included with a full kitchen, pots and pans, linens, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
There is a double bed in bedroom one, a queen size bed in the next bedroom, a double futon in third room, two couches in the living room with ottomans that, when pushed together, can sleep two adults or one adult and two children. A futon on the enclosed back porch adds a space for two more (this one is so comfortable!) if more space is needed, an inflatable bed is available, just ask!

There is a ring doorbell on the front and back door for enhanced safety.

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was just the right size for 4 adults and our fur baby. Might have been a bit crowded with more adults given the single bathroom but it was perfect for us.

Cute place within short drive of PSU!

We enjoyed our visit to State College and stay in the yellow cottage. It was a 15 minute drive from the house to the PSU campus! We appreciated that we could bring our dog along for the weekend!

PA Get away

My in laws live just off PSU campus and we can’t stay with them due to pet allergies. This was SO convenient for us! Super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The host was super thoughtful with some neat little extras for us. Thank you so much!

Owner was horrible

I complained about the house being filthy and instead of the owner fixing the problem she called told me she doesn't believe me. After I checked out she continued to be nasty and try to charge extra fees in which wasn't there before. I do not recommend this house if you like cleanliness and polite people.

This review is written out of spite. Rosaland brought 9 guests and 3 dogs to the home and immediately complained that the bathtub had a hair in it and the toilet was dirty. This simply wasn't true, check my other reviews. She is upset because she stole items from the home and was confronted about it. There was never a phone call, I maintained a text conversation for evidence. I'm sorry there isn't a spot for before and after photos here, but the photos of my house are current and accurate. I maintain my home to premiere standards.

Great Stay

Had a great stay at this house with some college friends for the football weekend. House was very nice and all bath linens, sheets and blankets were well supplied. One of the bed sheets had a small hole in it and a few stains on the couch, but overall it was very clean and cozy.

Thanks for your kind words. We try to keep up with everything, sometimes it's hard when guests allow their children to spill kool-aid on the furniture. I can't buy a new couch every time something like that happens! Rest assured, even though it was a small stain, it was cleaned and sanitized (just impossible to get out!)
