It was a very beautiful and unique property. Everyone in our all adult group enjoyed it immensely. (Though I do not think it would work well for those with very young children or people with mobility issues.)

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your group enjoyed the unique beauty of Boulder Groves and had such a memorable stay.
We also appreciate you mentioning that the property may not be ideal for very young children or guests with mobility challenges. Because of the natural boulders, stairs, and varied terrain, we always encourage guests to review our listing carefully to ensure it's the right fit for their group.
It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back for another special getaway in the future!
What can I say…everything you see in the photos for this home is exact. The pool was amazing and picturesque. My family enjoyed every moment. It was so spacious and the beds were comfortable. Will come back again some day.

This was a perfect house for our family’s reunion. It was super clean and large enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The surrounding hills were beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking and very well maintained. We loved waking up to the beautiful views everyday. Our host was super polite and courteous and communication with them was easy with a quick responses time. We highly recommend this place.

Stayed 4 nights for our son’s wedding with a large family. Beautiful, spacious, quiet, peaceful. Had an event here and the hostess was responsive, so very helpful with everything needed for a successful event and always helpful. Castle On the Hill for the win. Thank you!

Catie ,
It means so much that Boulder Groves could hold such an important moment in your story. This place was built for connection and celebration, and hearing that it served your family’s gathering so well brings our hearts full circle.
Thank you for your kindness, your care, and for trusting us with such a special time. You’re always welcome back — the Castle on the Hill will be ready to greet you with orange sunsets.

We booked this amazing property for our son’s rehearsal. The wedding was nearby at Mt. Woodson. With lots of out of state family coming for the wedding this property provided enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all. The serene and beautiful spaces really made the event spectacular. The pools and landscaping allowed guests to spread out and find the perfect spot to enjoy the wonderful views. The website pictures are accurate and our guests were taking photos of their own to capture their stay. Communication with our host was fast and always professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again!

Thank you for your kind word, Jill. We hope to host you and your family again.
Everything you see in the online pictures and more. Spectacular sunrises and superb sunsets. Pools better suited for looking at than swimming in, but with one pool big enough to cool off in. I’d be hesitant to bring young children because of the use of natural rock to navigate the pools, and any trips and falls would be painful. But the house has everything we needed, the grounds are gorgeous, the property manager is incredibly responsive and check in and check out are as easy as we’ve ever seen. We hated to leave!

The home was lovely. We had 11 people total (3 generations) stay with room for everyone. The home offered separation of space. We had 6 boys/men (ages 24 – 15) that were able to have their own space (we called it the east wing) where they could watch movies, play videos games, and not bother anyone else in the home. The property was beautiful and views were breath taking. The host was very responsive to all questions and/or minor issues. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the “Castle on the Hill".
