Great place to stay!
This is my second time renting from Ela Cabins and it didn’t disappoint. The location is one of the best in the area being situated right on the river. The grounds are kept very nice and the cabins are clean, cozy and very comfortable. These cabins are situated directly between Bryson City and Cherokee. The location is also easily accessible to so many other areas and interesting places, it makes this the perfect location to tour the entire Great Smokey Mountain region.
Back of the cabin faced the river with privacy on the back deck.Hot tub was clean. The owner was present on the property and quickly took care of any needs that arose.
Second time staying here. My wife and I enjoy it. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short due to winter weather. We will be back.

Relaxing Stay
Location is perfect it you want to be close to Cherokee area while still close to Bryson City. Hot tub was very relaxing, perfect temperature while viewing the river. We will definitely be back for another stay. Also any questions or concerns you may have? The property managers are amazing and very helpful.
The interior was very nice with comfortable couch and recliner. Enjoyed soaking in the hot tub by the river.

Response from VrboOwner on 15 April 2024
Hi Stacie, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were both surprised and disappointed to hear your stay didn't fully meet your expectations and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We were unaware of any issues or concerns during your stay and wish you had reached out to the guest contact. We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help. It is important to note, in late March, female carpenter bees emerge and then vanish shortly afterward. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
This cabin was very clean and comfortable. The mattress was shockingly comfortable. I normally don't review the mattress, but this one was so comfortable. i would buy the same for my home. Centrally located. It was perfect for our trip to visit the area.

Loved our stay in the Cast a Line Cabin
This was our second stay at Ela Shores Cabins. And I'm sure we'll be back again. Love the river location. The cabins are very nice and perfect for a couple. The cabins have everything you need, Satellite tv, internet, full kitchen, soft bed, fire pits and more. If you're a motorcyclist, they have covered motorcycle only parking and a nice flat area for parking trailers.

Every cabin at ela shores has always been amazing.
Each cabin is decorated a little different. Very quiet and you feel like you're at home. Beds are very comfy. Cabins are furnished with everything you need. The host responds very quickly with whatever questions you have. I can't just recommend one of these lovely cabins. They are all just perfect.
Great stay. Very clean and spacious. Loved the hot tub to pop into after our long morning hikes. Well stocked kitchen but could use a few more silverware pieces. Also a clicker to light a fire in the pit. The bed was so comfortable, loved the hooks on the wall right next to the shower. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. We enjoyed a Canopy Zipline tour at Wildwater in Bryson. Call for your reservation , the online system was not working correctly. A must see is the Elk feeding and interacting in the area near the welcome center outside Cherokee. Get a spot to park along the road just past the welcome center and enjoy the entertainment. Plan to be there from 5:30-6:30 pm. Our trip was Sept. 14-19,2025
Great place to stay will be back hope you have better neighbors. They smoked weed and had pzrty nusic blasting and dog that runs in your yard. They also stole a firepit from next door and charcoal on the outside picnic tables. I really thoght tgere was no dogs aloud and no partying. It really made me sick the weed smell was so strong. We had to ztay in the cabin most of the time.
