I actually didn’t end up staying here because VRBO booked my stay when the property wasn’t actually active. When I arrived there were other renters there already. The owner responded immediately and put us up in a local hotel when she didn’t have to. I would try to rent from this owner again if given the opportunity due to her extremely good customer service.

Quiet and Convenient Location

This cozy little studio was very quiet and reasonably priced, and it's located in a lovely neighborhood that is conveniently located to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, etc. The check-in process was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to questions. While we didn't need it, it was nice to know that we had access to the laundry area as well.

Excellent Stay for couples

The property is great and close by to many different opportunities in downtown san antonio. Despite some slight confusion with entering the property, the host was gracious and helped walk us along what we were doing incorrectly. The apartment is small but well organized, the kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils, cookware and some supplies.

Great Experience!

Loved the property so much, we plan on coming back! The studio is clean, well decorated, the bed was very comfortable and is very well stocked for all your needs. The area is very quiet and beautiful; and so convenient to all restaurants and bars.

Perfect Location, Great Stay in San Antonio!

Communication with Stephanie and Joe was unmatched, they got back to me immediately. We attended a concert at the Alamodome, and didn't have to deal with the chaos of traffic and ubers, we could walk there and got some dinner on the way. Definitely a great place to stay to explore San Antonio.

Concert

About 10 minutes to the Alamodome and only a few blocks from the River Walk. Was great to be able to get up the next morning after the concert and go for a walk along the River!

Loved where we stayed! The room was very clean and comfortable! We had a little trouble getting in (but totally our fault) called our host and they came over within 5 minutes to help us get in. Highly recommended booking this unit. We chose to walk to the attractions and take a Uber back. The cost of an Uber one way is cheaper than paying to park.

Small but great

This property was in a great location easily walkable to lots of food and bars. It was very clean and the description matched what I expected. I gave the rating a 4 only because the bathroom water pressure was very poor and the hot water heater needed turned up. The shower didn’t get very hot at all. Otherwise it’s a very quiet nice condo to stay in.

Overall pretty good

Overall it was fine. Clean, quiet and cute. The heater didn't seem to work super well, and the temperature outside dipped pretty low overnight! So we were really chilly when we woke up. The heat doesn't reach the bathroom too much, so it was very cold in there! We really were looking forward to some warm coffee in the morning. The coffee maker maybe needs to be de-scaled? It wasn't drinkable. There were flakes coming out when the coffee brewed and floating around in our cups. We took a walk to get some coffee, but the places listed online weren't there anymore.

We had a great stay in Southtown. The apartment is in an excellent location and the space is cool, quiet, and clean -- a perfect spot to unwind after exploring all that San Antonio has to offer. Moreover, the check-in process was seamless thanks to excellent communication from the hosts. Highly recommend!

I thought it was going to be hard to find parking in this area, so close to the Riverwalk, but parking was easily available to find and very close to the apartment!Probably just myself and not understanding the directions clearly at first after a long late drive, but I found the door combinations were JUST ever so slightly confusing at first when I arrived at the building. But when I read through the directions slowly, I understood them and was able to get in without an issue. The location was very nice and clean. If I was TRYING to find SOMETHING to say bad about the location, it would be the hot water/cold water temperature in the shower was the only thing that I could fault it for. It was a little hard to find a perfect temperature for the shower that wasn't a little too warm for our liking.....and even that's not really a complaint it's just the only thing I can come up with to fault the location for. Even with that being said, I would stay here again!

The condo is just as it's stated very clean very comfortable and Joe and Stephanie are right there if you need them to be and it's so close to the Riverwalk and some great restaurants and we just had a wonderful time visiting with our family and staying in the little condo.
