Vicky's Place is a completely renovated 1950’s home in downtown San Antonio. This gorgeous ground floor, two bedroom, two bath home is beautifully furnished with whimsical hand painted furniture and tastefully decorated. The home has all new modern appliances, cable TV, Wii, and private parking. Located only .3 m from the riverwalk and a short walk to all downtown attractions. This home was renovated to be an AirBnB with all modern conveniences and amenities incorporated. Please enjoy!!

Amazing Property

Great place in downtown San Antonio

Cozy, well-appointed property. I appreciated all the simple instructions and the simple checkout. The kitchen and appliances were modern and new. Nice living room and dining area. Liked the TVs in each bedroom and living room. The private parking space off the street was a plus.

Lovely First Floor Rental

The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed for our first ever visit to San Antonio. The location was great for walking to restaurants along the River Walk. We really enjoyed the outside backyard to provide some shade during late afternoon sun. Also very close to a beautiful church for Sunday services. We would not hesitate to rent again.

Family Wedding with Cousins

We really enjoyed Vickie's Place. It is charming and quaint with a great location and access to the Riverwalk. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. It had the comforts if home. I'll be back if in the San Antonio Area!

Vickys Place

This is the cutesy place to stay. We had a great time. It is within walking distance to river walk and Alamo. Several restaurants close by. If you don’t want to eat out Vickys place is well supplied with cooking pans and dishes. Comfy beds! Very clean! Loved the sweet gift bag of taffy. Thank you Vicky! Would stay again.

We just stayed one night, but it is close to the Museum Reach section of the Riverwalk. This is the nice area away from the “party zone”. It is walkable to Pete’s for breakfast, and to Elsewhere, formerly The Luxury. Also close to Bourbon Street for good seafood, or Ochos at Havana Hotel for small plates. Highly recommend stopping at the VFW Post 76 for a beverage and going to SA Museum of Art. We will definitely be back. The house is cute and affordable. I have stayed at all the hotels in this area and will definitely go back to Vicky’s Place when I go to San Antonio for fun times.

Many nice touches but a few problems

It was obvious that the owner wanted to create a unique and charming space for her visitors. Her artwork was bold and colorful. The hand-painted furniture was quaint and each was one-of-a-kind. The kitchen was well-outfitted and the appliances worked well. However, there were some problems we encountered as an older couple. The bed in the front bedroom is lumpy and the person sleeping on the left side feels as if he will fall off! We tried sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed and that was no better. The closet in that bedroom is small and the pole to hang clothes on is so high and close to the top shelf that it is almost unusable. The bed in the back bedroom is more comfortable but the bathroom there is tiny. The front bathroom is larger but has a high step up into the bedroom. It is marked but still dangerous for someone older. The front door entry code worked well -- a plus. The rather bright lights on the front porch came on automatically at night making it impossible for the front bedroom to be dark despite the blinds being closed.Overall, the apartment is cute. If I were much younger, I probably would have enjoyed it more and not been bothered by the problems we encountered. The location is excellent.

The house was great and well stocked. Vicky takes care of everything for her guests! We really enjoyed the home and it was convenient to so many areas of San Antonio. Went to a local restaurant but missed the coffee shop across the park. Next time! Highly recommend!!

As a hobby I paint furniture. So when my daughter Cesilie Carlton, (who owns the upstairs AirBnB "HighDiver House" in this building) and I went into the AirBnB business together, I was very excited to put my whimsical painted furniture into both apartments for others to enjoy. I put a lot of love in preparing this home for our guests. My goal is to make my house a comfortable and memorable retreat during their San Antonio stay. Thank you for staying.
