My family recently rented the Mountain Mama and had a fantastic time. The house is great, with plenty of room both inside and out. The deck was great for having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening.
Hi Dan, thanks for staying at Mountain Mama's House. We are thrilled you enjoyed the space. We agree - the wrap around deck is pretty awesome. We'd love to host you again sometime. Take care.
Beautiful location but lacked cleanliness
This house had a beautiful view & fit our family of 6 nicely. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. Sheets were dirty & we used many things in the kitchen which were all dirty & needed washed before using them.
Christmas at Idaho Springs!!
Overall we loved our stay at the house in the mountains. There is a great amount of space for our larger group to spread out! The kitchen area in particular was awesome! The outdoor decks and the views made it truly special. It was very quiet once at the house and felt like your own private retreat in the woods. Also....EXCELLENT communication on any questions or concerns that I had! Only complaints I had were the front door that you use as primary entrance needs some instructions as it's a bit tricky as the handle needs maintenance. The main complaint was the dishwasher is in poor condition. The bottom rack was virtually unusable as there were several broken parts. Again, very minor in the grand scheme and I would definitely recommend this rental!!! Thanks
This house is beautiful has everything you need.
I was amazed on how beautiful this house was. It has a great view from every angle of the house. The location is great has everything you would want to do and more with a short drive from skiing, snow tubing or down town Denver. Over all it a great place to stay I plan on coming back for a summer vacation.
Great mountain getaway for Thanksgiving
Spent Thanksgiving here with family of 9 (6 adults, 2 children, 1 infant). Easy drive from Denver, but enough to still feel like a Getaway. Luckily, since we live in Denver we could bring pack n play and high chair for baby. Host did drop off a stroller for our use and a brand new turkey roasting pan which was very kind! Nice cozy place with just what we needed. Gas fireplace kept living room very warm and cozy! Play room was nice touch for kids. Lots of stairs in home and icey road & driveway but to be expected in the mountains! Pretty views from windows. Really enjoyed our time.
Hi Molly, thanks for your great review! We are thrilled you enjoyed the home. Come back soon! The view out the windows is beautiful in all seasons. ; )
