Just a 10 minute drive from downtown Sandpoint and 30 minutes to Schweitzer mountain! This beautiful property offers an air conditioned 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a partial kitchen in the second bedroom and breathtaking views of Lake Pend Oreille and the Selkirk Mountains on the horizon. Additional amenities include a fire pit, hot tub, dock, BBQ pit, waterslide and PRIVATE backyard lake access. We also now offer half-price Schweitzer tickets for up to two guests during the winter as well as a ski/board tuning room with technician assistance upon request. We also offer Kayak rentals for $25 per person for the duration of your stay! Come stay with us on the lake for your next vacation to Sandpoint!

About the host
Hosted by Shep Snow
We're both career military officers and travelled all over the USA and the World for 30 years. Shep is now the director of an alpine ski racing team, and also runs an avalanche school. Joy is an avid skier, sailor and kayaker when not keeping a lid on things at home.
Why they chose this property
As we prepared to retire from the military we searched for a small town to raise our children. Another essential ingredient was finding a place where we could pursue our hobbies of skiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, etc, etc. Sandpoint has it all!
What makes this property unique
Our home offers the quiet of the South shore while being minutes away from downtown Sandpoint. Most of the residences on our road are vacant in the Winter, and few things are finer than sitting in the hot tub, gazing at lights across the lake with the only sounds being snowflakes floating through the trees. In the Summer, the lake gives us fast and easy access to everything town has to offer.
