Brand new four bedroom cozy log home (Chalet style) nestled on 4 acres on a quiet mountain road. Easily sleeps 10 people. Bright, spacious, airy interior features vaulted ceilings with an open floor plan that lends itself to families and socializing. Living room with gas fireplace. Equipped with a brand new kitchen, stainless steel appliances and granite counters and wide-planked wooden floors, dishwasher, washer/dryer, central heating system. Also, has separate wet-bar with cedar plank counter and wine fridge.

The lower/basement level has been recently remodeled to accommodate another bedroom (full height room, with full windows), large family/game room, luxury bathroom (with STEAM SHOWER), and a FULL SAUNA. It is a glorious oasis level to relax in or watch a movie on the 75 inch TV on the large sofa sectional.
Also has an additional bar area, with wet bar, bar stools and beverage fridge.

Pull out flat screen 48" TV with Cable, Netflix and wi-fi enabled. There is an outdoor New Weber grill on the deck and a fire pit outside. Nordictrack treadmill and sationary bike in the basement GYM for exercise options. You'll find that you will have all the conveniences of home at your fingertips…

The large wrap around deck makes it a great location for outdoor groups or family get-togethers. This is a perfect getaway for all seasons! Awesome for skiing in the winter and great for spring, summer and fall. ZoomFlume water park is 20 minutes away, great hiking 5 minutes from house.

Upstairs has large Master bedroom with King size bed and Master bath with large walk in shower. Also, upstairs is second bedroom (#3) with single and twin beds, and large closet.

Main floor has two bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with queen size bed; Bedroom 2 has one bunk bed (2 twins) and 1 twin bed. In between bedroom 1 and 2 is a Jack and Jill full bathroom with a tub/shower. Sleeps 10 comfortably in bedrooms. Two couches in living room can be utilized as well.
Downstairs has a private bedroom with Full Bed.

Home is only 8 minutes away from the charming town of Windham with numerous restaurants and stores and 10 minutes drive from Windham ski slopes, making it perfect for all Ski enthusiasts. You can see the mountain from the wrap-around back porch. Beautiful area with lots to do! Activities for everyone year round: Snow boarding, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, horse back riding, snowmobiling, fairs, antiquing. Come up for the Summer and Fall Cultural Festivals, art galleries, antiques, concerts and much more.

This house was the perfect getaway for our family of six: 3 adults and 3 children. The children (ages 4, 7, and 10) thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and great hiding places! Our proximity to the Windham ski area was very convenient. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries. We’re expecting to make a return visit, if not this season, then next.

Winter wonderland

From top to bottom this place is great. I have used VRBO many times and this was my best experience yet. The owner was prompt with all correspondence before and during our stay. The place is better in person, truly a great place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. All you need to bring is food. Thanks, John ! We will be returning.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable house

We’ve rented multiple houses at Windham and this was our family’s favorite. We loved the huge windows and cathedral ceiling. It is very close to town and skiiing and had everything needed to cook and relax. Highly recommend it for families.

Awesome ski house in the perfect location

Over the past 20 years I have rented many ski houses; most were forgettable, several were regrettable but this one was one of the most memorable ones for sure. The house is spacious, clean and well stocked with every imaginable item. All the beds were very comfortable which is uncommon in rental ski houses. The amenities were perfect: Fireplace, deck with easy to use grill, a downstairs basement/playroom where the kids had a blast. TV with built in Netflix was also appreciated by the entire family. The location is also unbelievable, it was literally a 5 minute drive to Windham base. Overalll, I'd recommend this to everyone who wants to stay in the Windham area. Thank you John for sharing this location with us and taking great care of it.

Wonderful stay!!

This house is beautiful. We often rent in Windham and decided to go with a larger house than usual this year to accommodate our extended family and we definitely did not go wrong with our choice. We also had a 50th anniversary dinner during our stay and with the nice new kitchen it was a breeze to cook for a group. The deck is amazing with a great grill..and while there are no mountain views it was so nice in the evening (free of bugs) to watch the stars and relax. The large yard was great for the kids to run around. The master is some what secluded but has a small bedroom next to it for a little one if needed, which is always a bonus and the shower is gorgeous!! Already planning the next stay.

Since we love coming up to Windham for skiing, we started exploring the town. The people of Windham are very friendly and the town is very safe. There are numerous note worthy restaurants around the area.
