Beautiful Lake House With Boat Dock/gorgeous Views

This classy, bright,sunny, vacation home is as close to the water's edge as you can get. It features large floor to ceiling windows over looking the water and mountains. Cathedral ceilings add a feeling of spaciousness. The lower level has 2 bedrooms with view windows and a large family room with a pull out sleeper sofa, wet bar, flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and glass sliding doors overlooking the water and dock. A full bathroom and dual stereo system is on the lower level as well. The upper level features the master bedroom, flat screen TV, private full bath with jetted tub and separate shower. The living room has a large wrap around sofa, flat screen TV, easy chair, wood fireplace and large floor to ceiling windows The kitchen is large, bright and airy with a wrap around bar and open air concept that overlooks the dining area and living room. There are 2 decks. One is off the living area on the upper level, and the other is on the lower level. Both decks over look the water and the stunning views. The dock can accommodate 2 boats as well as the 4 kayaks that the owners provides.
Linens, WiFi, Cable, On Demand, Roku, Netflix, DVD player, BBQ provided.

Great house, great community and Great Lake!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The location was perfect for a great weekend in Tahoe with friends. Being able to bring our boat and use the dock was so nice. And use of kayaks was great also. Owner was extremely easy to work with and provided all the necessary information in a timely manner. House was equipped with everything we needed. We definitely will be back! Thank you Francoise and Paul for opening up your home to us!

Wonderful experience in Tahoe Keys

We rented this house for the last week of August, 2018. Everything was as described and the home was perfect for our family of four. Great having the docks and kayaks available to use for the guests. Clearly a home used and kept up by the owners rather than primarily a rental property. We found instructions for how to get into house, washer/dryer/ garbage, etc, to be quite clear. Owners were helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. Would rent this house again if we come back to the area and highly recommend for others.

Beautiful, spacious, with lots of little touches

This was a wonderful experience. Francoise was a gracious friendly hostess and communicated promptly throughout the entire process. The house is clean, fully stocked with lots of amenities. Cozy blankets, firewood, kitchen items, etc. There are lots of games, roku for tv, tv's in the bedrooms. Her instructions in the guest manual were easy and clear to follow. We encountered bad weather and asked to stay an extra night and Francoise was totally accommodating. We can't wait to stay at this property again...was great in the winter, but I bet it's even better in he summer!!!! Thanks again! Renee

Exceptional Lake House in fantastic location!

We had one of the best family vacations at the Lake House. We spent 8 nights at this home, which is beautiful, very clean, and has everything one may need. It also has a beautiful decor and everything inside is functioning as it should. We have been renting homes for our family vacation every year for the the past 15 years, and the Lake House is definitely at the top of the list of places we rented so far. It is located in a quiet and very nice neighborhood but at the same time not far from all the attractions. The owners are very easy to work with, very caring and accommodating. We really appreciated the availability of the kayaks that allowed us to enjoy Tahoe Keys when we weren't hiking the nearby trails. We enjoyed the nature around the house - Canada geese feeding in the backyard, squirrels, and bunnies hoping in the front yard. We definitely hope that we will be able to book this place again. Thank you Francoise and Paul for being fantastic hosts!

Comfortable Stay with Room to Improve

First, I'll state the obvious, Tahoe is stunning! We had a girls trip to the Lake House in late July. The house is spacious and the location was relaxing. It is far enough away from the hustle of Tahoe, but close enough to get to the beautiful sites without much hassle. I think the house has a lot of potential of being perfect but there could be more effort put forth in making it just that. Im not exactly sure what the cleaning situation is after the guests leave but it seems like it could be better. I dont feel there is a cleaning service in place, rather than just clean up after yourself and then maybe the next people come in? There were just some detail cleaning that I feel should have been done before spending quite a bit of money for a nice home. example: dusting, spider webs, vaccuming etc. We were also a bit confused by the request from the owner to not use the AC. As I mentioned, it was late July and the days get hot and the house gets hot with those large windows. Lastly, it would be helpful to have better directions around the house such as the washer/dryer info, where exactly you need to dump your trash and how to get there, and maybe where the pool and hot tub are located. All of these things seemed pretty vague... but we got along just fine. We had an awesome week in Tahoe. With just those couple items being addressed, this home is a great place to vacation!

In response to your review.. We have an excellent housekeeper. The house was spotless when you arrived. I know because I checked it out. Our housekeeper comes before and after each guest. I do not recall you ever asking to use the air conditioner, otherwise I would’ve said “yes”. In addition, the washer is brand new and the directions were on top. It did not work as it should have and I apologize for that. Also, I called you and asked if everything was all right and you said “good”. You did not elaborate, you did not ask for any further information. I always call by the second night, if you were unhappy, that was your opportunity to tell me. You also have my phone number and could have called us at any time. The directions for where to bring the garbage and how to get there is on the refrigerator as well as on your direction guide on the counter. I do believe things went downhill when you asked to use my second paddle board and I responded with "it’s my personal paddle board and I would prefer if it wasn't used. You were left with five kayaks and one paddle board. That is more recreation toys than almost any home in the Keys.

Beautiful Keys Property

My family and I rented this property for one week. The home is as it is described. There are stunning views of the water both from the living room and the two decks. The owner is very organized and quick to reply to any questions, The property is also in a great location because it is close to bike trails, beaches, and a short drive to stores. We had a great time and the house had all the amenities that could be needed. As a plus, the owner also allowed us to use their kayaks and paddle boards. We would definitely stay here again,

Wonderful Home for a Family Vacation in Tahoe!

This is a very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained property with a well equipped kitchen and everything you would hope for in a home away from home. Owners Paul & Francois were so responsive and accommodating to us--bending over backward to rent to us during a time they had hoped to occupy it themselves--and then adjusting the cleaning schedule so that we could enjoy a little extra time there. We are so appreciative of what they did for us and hope to be able to rent this lovely property again. Our family loved the kayaks and used them several times during our stay. We also rented a boat from the local marina on Venice and found the access to Lake Tahoe very convenient. Proximity to local grocery store, Raley's, also very much appreciated. Great hiking everywhere--Fallen Leaf Lake a nice side trip. Emerald Bay a short drive--highly recommend if you have never seen it before. Thank you Paul & Francois--you are definitely the "hosts with the mosts"!!!

Beautiful lake home with boat dock

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. The house was clean and well kept. We were grateful for the use of the many kayaks and clean patio furniture. The house is laid out well and very functional for our family. We have stayed at a variety of homes via this website, across several different states and found this one as the best. It's by far the #1 house we have rented. We have rented bigger and more expensive but only left disappointed. It was tough to leave but we look forward to many more stays here. A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. As promised, there were 4 individual kayaks and there was a bonus of an additional two person kayak and two paddle-boards. We had so much fun in the keys and on the lake in these vessels. The house itself was beautiful, just like the photos. It was very clean and well maintained. It was also well stocked with games, sheets, blankets and even condiments. We could tell the owners love this house and have put a lot of thought into what makes it a nice, convenient place to stay, right down to the handy trash compactor in the kitchen. The view of the keys, from the house, was great. One of our vacation days was spent just relaxing in the house and on the deck, enjoying the view. We would definitely recommend this house to a friend and we hope to stay in it again sometime.

Cozy, clean, inviting and perfection!

Beautiful house with big living room

We went in the winter and really enjoyed the big living room with the fireplace to play games and watch the Warriors game. The whole floor plan was really open and inviting. The beds were comfortable which was important to us and the place was clean. Francoise was very reliable when we had a question and very organized with the booking process and even gave us directions and fun things to do in town.

Holiday Haven!

This is a special place. We felt fortunate to have it for the long Christmas weekend. Spent four wonderful days - wife and I, twenty something son and daughter, each with friend - and we were as comfortable as if we were home. Enjoyed watching a major snowstorm from the cozy side of the panoramic windows, fire blazing and holiday music from the entertainment system completing the atmosphere. Rib roast for dinner using the very complete kitchen. Next day skied Heavenly from California Lodge, 15-20 minutes away. The play room downstairs offers only TV but proved a great space for spreading out the snow gear to dry. The two smaller bedrooms were large enough for the kids with friend and were quite comfortable, they reported. The master bedroom was more than enough for our four night stay - nicely arranged with separate twin sink/counter area with bath and separate shower/toilet room. There is a large enclosed garage which kept my car warm and dry, while the kids two cars easily fit in the driveway. This house could be an annual destination for us, and we're anxious to experience it in another season!
