The heater in the pool wasn't working but there was more fun things for the kids to do. While we were disappointed about the pool the owner did everything they could to help resolve the issues. We enjoyed our stay. The home was nice and comfortable for all of us. We had a great stay.

The house was very dirty. We had to fix a toilet that didn't flush, rehang shower curtains in one bathroom, not enough bath towels and wash cloths, no kitchen towels, no dish soap or dishwasher tablets, had to go out and buy both, had to buy clorox wipes to clean the dirty kitchen and bathrooms. The grill was so dirty we didn't use it, kitchen table chairs and bar stools were wobbly and couldn't sit on most of them. I tried to reach out to the host and she never answered me back. I spent a lot of money to stay here and was very disappointed. I will not be back staying at this location. Please do a thorough cleaning and much needed upkeep.

The house was great! Amazing back yard with lots to do. Super close to downtown Gilbert. Pool was awesome and the kids loved ping pong and putting green.

Family Reunion Stay

This is one of 10 properties that I rented for a family reunion. It was a nice property and my nieces and their families enjoyed their stay, however the pool that we paid extra to have heated never heated properly enough for them to enjoy.

Overall things were great and as advertised. Positive:Great Amenities...lot's to do on property. Was as advertisedBeds were greatGreat LocationGreat for FamiliesNegative:The only issue was the kitchen. The dishes were dirty, we had to wash everything we used. The coffee maker wasn't cleaned, the old grounds were left in it with mold forming so we cleaned it as well. I did have to run up to the store to buy dish soap to wash dishes. Everything else was great and I'd rent again.

Amazing outdoor area

The pool and outdoor area is gorgeous! The inside was just ok. We had 8 people in our group and were a little disappointed at broken kitchen chairs, lack of forks, uncomfortable old beds, and not enough bath towels. I would definitely not stay there with more then 8 people as it is a little tight. However the outside area was amazing and had plenty of space! It is located on a main road so a little loud but if you play some music you will hardly notice. If you are looking for a place with an amazing outdoor area this is def a place for you! was a little loud due to it being on a

Dirty and in Disrepair

The trip started be not getting door code until 4:00pm. We were just about to board a 7 hour flight from Hawaii and the rest our party was needing the check in code before we left. One we checked in, the WiFi instructions were incorrect and took a while to figure out. The listing said there was a hot tub, but there was not. I contacted the owner and they said they would remove that from the listing. The house was very dirty and in disrepair. Chairs were broken and doors didn’t close. The thermostat was hanging from a wire in the wall and didn’t work. We contacted the owner and they sent someone to install a new thermostat. Vents and cold air returns were full of dust and cobwebs. Mattresses were very hard and noisy. Only one tv in the entire inside of the house. Only three forks and very few pots and pans. Had to go to Walmart to buy basic necessities that were not provided. The most I have ever paid for a Vrbo in Phoenix and would not recommend.

Fooled by Host

We read some of the reviews, liked the location so we reached out to the host about the issues other renters had. We know that some people are picky and give bad reviews if everything is not perfect. The host assured us that everything was fixed, they lied. House smelled when we walked in, we bought candles. House wasn’t the cleanest place I had ever rented; I thought the coffee table had a scratch and ran my hand over it and food came off.... 7 people staying in house, Host had 4 towels available for showers, there were some beach towels that we could use.... Kitchen faucet is still broken, Corn hole was warped and unusable, it was great having a putting green to look at, no balls, no putters, I didn’t see in the description that we needed to bring our own, wait..there was a putter head on the putting green, head did not have a shaft. I own a pool table, their cues tips were horrible, hard, or almost non-existent, chalk was worn out, almost unusable. Master bath bottom drawer kept opening on its own (hit my foot on it). Toilet seats were the cheapest plastic seats you could buy, not very secure, if you moved, they slipped off the side of the bowl. We came down for Christmas, had to purchase measuring cups and a meat thermometer, and had 2 measuring spoons we made do with. Knives had rust spots, had to re-wash some of the silverware to use it. They have a BBQ listed but BBQ had no propane tank, we had planned on cooking our Christmas dinner on the BBQ... No extra blankets. beds were uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable and very worn, you could feel the frame under the cushion when you sat down. Kitchen bar stools were unusable, cushions were pushed through the frame, so you sat on the frame and vinyl cover. Outside patio furniture was threadbare and frayed. I am sure I have missed a couple items but basically, we had to laugh at how bad it actually was. If we weren’t planning on cooking Christmas dinner and hadn't already gone food shopping before we checked-in we may have moved to a hotel. We couldn’t believe it this acceptable to VRBO, we paid a lot of money to stay there, and I was very disappointed. This property should be taken off VRBO and we should be refunded at least part of our money. This house puts the VRBO system in question, do they actually vet their rental properties?

Location and size of home is perfect for a family. There was 6 of us and the space was comfortable.

Overall our experience was great. There were just a few unsatisfying issues, but nothing too major. The patio chairs had holes, there were cigarette butts in the fire ring. One bedroom the ceiling fan sounded like it was going to come flying off the ceiling. Outdoor activities were weather warped or broken. Definitely needs some upgrades. The POOL was excellent and perfect! We spent just about everyday in it. Would definitely book again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Beautiful pool, handful of issues

Overall our stay was lovely and we enjoyed the house. The beds were comfy and the pool was absolutely beautiful! Received quick replies to questions when communicating with the host via the app. However, there were some issues that put a slight damper on our stay. The seats of four out of the five chairs near the table by the pool were ripped down to the metal frame. One of the bedroom ceiling fans made a loud, metallic noise when it was on, no matter what speed it was set at. One of the kitchen island stools the stuffing was coming out the bottom. One of the sprinklers in the backyard the water sprays the back porch. The sprinkler came on Saturday night and soaked the towels and bathing suits that we had left on the porch to dry. The step pedal on the trash can didn’t lift the lid and the rim was broken, this made keeping a bag in place a bit of a hassle. The wood frame on the Cornhole game was also broken. I messaged the host in the app to make them aware of these issues after we checked out, but did not receive a reply. Hope these will be fixed for future guests to be able to enjoy their stay to the fullest! :)

Renters Beware

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Our family was in town due to an unexpected death. We booked this property at the last minute because our previous property was cancelled due to a water main break. Hana refused to give us the door code until 4pm stating that’s when the cleaners would be done. This is how she tries to prevent early check ins. We checked into a house that was 82 degrees inside (105 outside) air-conditioner was not working. We contacted Hana 2 hours later. We didn’t get a response until 1am, stating that when she was there “cleaning” it was 88 in the house but went down to 80, (it was actually 82 we took a pic and sent it to her) so she thought it was working. What kind of owner would have guests check into a home that is 82 degrees? Needless to say, it was a long miserable night. She did have a tech out the next afternoon while we were gone and got it to work a little better. Suppose to have ordered parts on order? There was nothing fresh and clean smelling when we entered the home. The knives were covered in rust, there was old moldy coffee grounds in the coffee maker and old water in the electric tea pot. Furniture was uncomfortable and dining room table chairs seats were broke. Honestly the only positive that we found was we had a roof over us and a place to lay our heads (beds were comfortable pillows not so much.) There are picture frames scattered thru out the house with rules and threats of charging you if they are not followed. None of which are stated in the description or house rules and there isn’t even a renal agreement with such rules. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and own 2. This was the worst experience. Some owners are cut out to have vacation rentals, Hana is not one of them.

Beautiful but filthy and pool issues

For the most part the property was beautiful, the outdoor area was awesome. Some things I hope the owner will address. General cleanliness: - A good portion of the kitchen utensils were dirty (we cleaned them all) - BBQ utensils were left under the cover and extremely dirty. - Fridge was filthy - Used razor left in the master shower. - Massive ball of hair on the drain of the master shower. - Mattresses were stained and dirty. - Pots and Pans all dirty (we cleaned them too) - Coffee machine was not cleaned. Full of moldy coffee grounds. (Did not clean however dumped the grounds in the garbage) - Main bathroom sink drain plugged. - generally very dusty. Other issues. - BBQ was out of propane. When we inquired, the owner asked us to put the empty cylinder by the gate so she can refill. Never did show. She did say to swap the one out of the fire table but after looking at the condition of the grill, no thanks! - The pool.....ugh. Beautiful pool!!!! Requested heat be turned on twice. Initially said no but after I stated the property write up said Nov-Apr free pool heat, I suspect she turned it on sporadically. Didn't matter...…even in 95 degree heat, the pool was bloody frigid. We wanted to go night swimming, could not due to the frigid temperature. I didn't push the issue because the owner stopped acknowledging any pool request prior to our arrival and our first day. I would totally stay here again if the owner fixed the above issues.
