Great Location!

Loved the location! Property a bit older, but clean and nice. Our condo was spacious and clean. It definitely could use an update on the furniture. Couches and Bed, Feels like it's very worn out. Not very comfortable.

Luxury price, moderate accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would suggest people shop around before choosing to stay at this property.Pros: This property is on the beach with very easy access and is less than a 5-minute walk to a bunch of shops, restaurants, and activities. The beach is massive and beautiful and there were plenty of chairs, space, etc. If you don't want to be in the middle of the foot and vehicle traffic and/or hear bar music sounds until 2am, then this probably isn't a Pro nor the unit for you, but it's appealing to some. Overall, the facility itself is a little dated and could use some tech and amenity upgrades, but there are worse places. Those are the best Pros I could come up with.Cons: The unit we were in was priced like a luxury resort, but it looked and felt like a standard spring break hotel. We didn't feel the need to complain, it was just a mix of cosmetic issues and stuff that's uncomfortable/inconvenient and should be better given the price.

Great location

We had a wonderful time at the House of the Sun! The property management company was great and very friendly. Our unit was a little dated and the kitchen needed more stocked. There were only a few small skillets and very few bigger bowls to cook and serve with. The other thing to note is that you are limited to only two beach chairs and then you have to pay for more. Outside of these few items….our trip was awesome!! Beach, pool and facilities were great….thank you!

Hi Kim, Thank you for your review, we appreciate the feedback and are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the kitchen deficiencies, please note we keep an inventory of those items for additional guest requests. If you encounter that problem in the future, please stop down at the office and let our reservation desk know, we can have the items brought up. Unfortunately, we only maintain an inventory of beach chairs the provides two free chairs per unit. If additional chairs are needed those can be obtained through the beach attendant, but are their rental cost. Thanks again, for your review. Sincerely, Justin Ego, GM

Great Beach Average Condos

If you stay in a unit too close to the road the live music across the street from House of the Sun will be very loud until around 11:00 pm. Units on Siesta Key are getting beat up due to popularity of the location. Beach was packed…too crowded. Not worth the price you pay any longer. Management was very friendly.

Good location, but....

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was in a good location, but this unit sits closest to the road with very loud music playing from about noon until midnight. We enjoyed those bars/eateries, but Was difficult to WFH on the patio in the afternoon or sleep before 12 am. Clean, but no extras like toiletries or condiments, dish soap or even a sponge.

Well managed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything couldn’t have gone any smoother from checkin to checkout. We had one small issue with a shower head that was fixed the very same day.The only suggestion would be to add Wi-Fi capability to at least one TV for renters to access streaming. A simple Roku would do the trick.Location within Crescent Beach is perfect, and direct access to beach was a dream.

Location!

Nothing can beat the location of this place. Right by the beach and some little shops right across the road. We had a great time and we would travel here again.

Response from VrboOwner on 6 March 2021
Good Morning Timothy, Thank you for the review, we are glad you had a good time and understand the noise level. The is the unfortunate effect of being by the street especially when the local businesses have music. We have reached out to the county with regards to businesses obeying the 10PM noise ordinance. Hopefully, this will be enforced and monitored more appropriately. Thanks again for the review. Justin Ego, GM
