Wake up to a freshly brewed morning coffee (made on your own barista coffee machine), best enjoyed from the spacious sundeck or the comfy lounge area. Plan your day as you stare out at the view, or simply free your mind and find your happy place.

A fully equipped kitchen awaits to prepare all your holiday favourites. Put together a few side dishes to go with your fresh BBQ feast, then head out to the deck to dine alfresco long into the evening. You'll stay warm thanks to the enclosed outdoor heated area.

In the upstairs lounge there is a big screen movie projector so on wet days you can relax and enjoy a movie live streaming via AppleTV or connect from your own device.

Whether you've been out exploring, or simply relaxing here at your home away from home, you'll love a relaxing soak in the large cedar hot tub. You know you deserve it. On a clear night, views of the night sky in this remote country setting are breathtaking.

When the day has come to an end, retire to one of three double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom access.

Pukawa Bay, Omori and Kuratau are all a short five-minute drive away. Bring the boat, launch it at the nearby boat ramp, and spend the day out on the water. From the south west shores of Lake Taupo you are within easy reach of the Tongariro river, Mount Ruapehu and the central plateau, an outdoor adventure wonderland – enjoy trout fishing, mountain biking, hiking, day walks (including the famous Tongariro crossing), kayaking and white water rafting, to name just a few.

For a winter escape, Whakapapa is just 50 minutes drive and Turoa is 90 minutes away, making this home an ideal base for your next ski trip.
