Perfect family stay

Fabulous property, equipped with all the essentials for a week long stay. Beautifully furnished, clean & inviting. Great location close to the beach & only a few blocks from Macrossan. Bec was super helpful, as our stay fell just after Cyclone Jasper. She kept us informed about the state of the house (which escaped unscathed) & how Port Douglas was faring. We would absolutely recommend this property to family & friends.

Tranquil paradise

Great accommodation in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen and lots of little extras in the pantry. Perfect for a family holiday.

GUESTS BEWARE!

We were left with an unpleasant parting gift of an extremely excessive $2000 charge deducted without notification for "Cleaning", with no photographs or proof. Even after requesting photos for 2 weeks since our stay. This is now an ongoing dispute as there have been nothing but inconsistencies with their reasoning. BEWARE of the terms and conditions of this property, as apparently we are supposed to leave it as if it was completely untouched. They expected us to do deep clean on our holiday, provided no cleaning products (not even basic multipurpose cleaning spray), yet did not make any effort to emphasis this request except for in the little terms and conditions online, via indirect links from Stayz, and which were not even left in the welcome letter in the property. For the price that we paid for this stay, we would have had a more pleasant experience at a hotel/resort with room service included in the price. We are frequent travellers and are sensible/responsible enough to leave a property in a reasonable state when checking out. If there were such specific tasks and high standards to maintain for the property, it would make sense to leave clear instructions and required products/tools on the property for all travellers to be aware of. BEWARE - they do not charge you a cleaning fee as part of your booking and this is probably why - they'll hit you with the bill after you leave and deduct monies from you with no authority or notice - NOT very transparent at all and very misleading! If you would like to buy your own cleaning products to thoroughly clean their property on your holiday, go ahead and stay here.
