Amazing Port Douglas

From the very first enquiry to book this beautiful property, Heather was amazing to deal with. She emailed well in advance to advise of local attractions and places to eat and we always felt she was available at any time should we have any questions or need help. The house is very well equipped with plenty of pool towels, a great kitchen and appliances. The house was a great size for 5 adults and two children (6 and 11). The pool was fab as was all of the outdoor areas. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The extra little treats in the fridge were greatly appreciated! Overall we couldn't have asked for anything more from either Heather or Sisanya! Thanks so much for everything, we had a truely amazing time!

Heather was very helpful in our booking and also our check in which was a bit later than expected flying into Cairns and car pick up delays. All lights and fans had been put on to see where we were going. A roomy house for 9 of us, 2 grandparents, two adults and their 5 children 7-17 were accommodated. The house is roomy and was well equipped as far as all crockery, glassware and cooking and kitchen needs. Nice quiet gated community with private access across the Rd onto Five Mile Beach. Not far to drive to areas nearby IGA, great Italian Pizzas good. Also nice to be out of the business of staying right in Pt Douglas in school holidays despite still close. Appreciated the mid week clean. We were out every day but the pool was used a lot. The 4 single beds we needed upstairs we misunderstood them to be Kingsingle beds as listed but are definately single size beds being a bit harder for tall older teenagers. But they can be put together no doubt to make a Queen bed if you do not require all the beds, but we did need separate. But as an 80th Birthday for myself and family we had a wonderful 8 days of doing so much Port Douglas and surrounging areas have to offer.

Overall great for our family. Could do with a little tlc around gardens. Kids lived the small pool area. Lovely open plan living.

Great for families

Great layout for large families. Great amenities, close to town and walking distance of beach and restaurants. One note for parents of young children is that there is no pool gate around the lower pool or pond so plan accordingly. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Ideal extended-family holiday home

Perfect for our group, 2 Grandies, 4 parents and 4 kids(6 -10 y/o). Sleeping/bathing spaces for each family group, lounge/relaxation spaces for each age group or whole group together. And the kids lived in the heated pool when the weather was unkind. Short adventure-walk to the excellent beach. Thankyou Heather.

Family holiday

We were three generations and the house was exceptional for this multigenerational travellers both local and international. The house gave us all areas to be together, or quiet areas if needed. The area surrounding the house gave us plenty of parking and easy access to the beach. It was also an excellent position to embark on all our trips. We thank Heather for all her kind assistance and highly recommend the property to others.

Escape from Tassie winter

Very well equipped kitchen, supplied with some stock items. Good laundry. Plenty of room in house, comfortable beds. Ceiling fans and air con. Close to beach for morning walks. Lush well kept gardens and tastefully decorated. Great communication with Heather

Peace, calm, comfort

We had a lovely stay at Sisanya and were very well looked after by the Property Manager, Heather. Communication was excellent from first contact to check out. The house is beautiful, well appointed, super comfortable and very near the beach in a peaceful, gated development. We all hope to return soon - just the place to re-charge tired batteries!

Happy stay in Port Douglas

This property catered perfectly for our 2 family group. Plenty of space for all of us. Well equipped kitchen, quality bedding and bathrooms. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay.

Good Holiday Location for Families

Whilst we enjoyed our stay - particularly the good location, good communications with the Manager, the lack of access to garage meant that one of our cars was not under cover and impacted by rubbish falling from some of the trees and birds - needed daily car wash. Some improvements in the security and maintenance of facilities would make this a Great place for a family holiday. I am sure the Manager will act on any issues.
