We had a great time here, plenty of room for 2 families. Close to town, golf course and beach. Harriet was fabulous to deal with. Everything was thought of from coffee machine to toiletries in the bathrooms. Would highly recommend this property.

Recently stayed with our family of 4 & another family of 4, all with adult children. Couldn’t fault our experience at all. From the communication from Kate at the time of booking, to any silly questions I had leading into our stay, all very helpful. Even had messages during our time there to check everything was ok. We were contacted by Harriett, the house manager/housekeeper, prior to our arrival & who met to orientate us to the house. Any & all questions answered with tips & advice given. The house itself was amazing. The multiple living areas allowed everyone to have space if needed but the general meeting area was where the outdoor area opened into the TV lounge through the bi- fold doors. Opening all the doors out to the pool area allowed the sea breeze to cool the house down & enhance the overall space of the property. Of course the pool area was immaculate with just a short walk through the trees straight onto 4 Mile Beach. The photos you see on the website are exactly what you see on arrival. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

My wife and I come to Port Douglas for about 3 months every year and we love all the aspects for the lifestyle in North Queensland. Walking, Golfing, Yoga, hiking, boating. Eating out and relaxing. My family have been coming here for many many years and it has captured ALL our hearts.

Why they chose this property

We think Solander is the prime area to live. It's secluded enough from the bustle of the town, yet close enough to have total access to the main street and all the aspects it has to offer us. The Beach is quiet and pristine and a perfect location to relax and unwind.
