Lovely cabin. Great communication with our host. My dog loved the fenced yard. Being a mo
We enjoyed our stay. Lake Lure is really going through alot right now!! We did bring some steaks to grill out since the site states it has a grill but were unable to use is due to the propane not being hooked up and the grill was filthy!!
The house/cabin was perfect for our stay. As in the area for work, the fully equipped kitchen was nice to make dinner versus eating out every night. Didn’t have a toaster for breakfast, but toasted our bagels in the broiler instead. Would recommend to anyone who needs a getaway in a peaceful setting.
The stay was very good. I enjoyed the lake and the convenience of being so close by. The property was set up great for our stay. I look forward to coming again.
Such a lovely development! Saw a huge black bear around. Everything you needed at the house! Such amazing comfortable beds . Especially enjoyed the fenced in yard for our fur babies. Will definitely stay here again. And the property manager checking in on us several times while there.
Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was with getting through the gate at the entrance of the gated community. The access code to get the gate to open was not provided prior to our arrival. Once we discovered we could not access the entrance gate we reached out to the host via telephone and he quickly provided to the necessary code.
Everything was great. The house was clean and the host was there at my waking call and i like that. The area was nice, friendly ppl. Just a note: there was dog hair on the couches. It wasnt unbearable but was noticeable other than that everything was fantastic. Me and my friends had a great time and will definitely be returning to the area again soon.
It was secluded and quiet. Just what I like.
The only down fall was some of the bedding smelled slightly moldy maybe from not being dried lol the way or left in a washer over night. But that was the only thing that was a negative. Everything else was great.

A mostly good experience
The house was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was adequately outfitted (but oh-so-disorganized). But I hated the Klieg light shining on the deck all night. There was no way to turn it off and enjoy darkness.

The photos were obviously photo-shopped. The property wasn’t nearly as nice as it appeared in pictures. The inside cleanliness was okay, but the outside was disgusting. There are cobwebs everywhere - we had to go to the store and buy bug spray to spray the porch down to kill all the spiders and clean the porch chairs so we could even sit on the porch. We could not sit by the fire pit because the furniture is in such disrepair and so dirty. The only large bed is very uncomfortable and squeaky - like a big cot-and we hardly got any sleep whole time we were there there. The accommodations were hit and miss. There were towels and a few wash clothes, but no hand towels anywhere and no rugs on the floor in any of the bathrooms or in the living room. There is also nowhere to hang up clothes. The It was sort of like camping with plumbing and air-conditioning. I recommend that the owners spend a week there, bringing only clothes, and get a good idea of what it’s like to stay there. It wouldn’t take much to make this a a nice property.
Very convenient and clean. Everything we needed was there. In need of some TLC and updating. Good fire pit outback. No directions on operating tv or fireplace that we could not get to light.
We went to get a quick getaway from home and always enjoy the mountains. Loved the gated neighborhood and saw lots of lovely wildlife (lots of deer). The property is ready for some updates and we were disappointed the 2 bathrooms listed were actually a full bath and a half bath. Also, the kitchen supplies were minimal. Would be great for 2-3 people but not for the 6 we had.
Even with rainy weather during our short trip, we had a wonderful time! This home is located perfectly if you want to hike nearby, go into Chimney Rock Village, or go to Lake Lure. We were able to hike, run back to the house to dry out a little, and then head back out. We hope to stay here again soon!

There was a Bees nest corner of porch, couldn’t sit on porch. Grill didn’t work! Location great, clean. Terrible mattress! But overall enjoyed the stay! The property manager answered all questions
