About this property

Little Black Cottage - Rural Retreat

A cute self-contained studio cottage, beautifully situated for restful scenic vistas over fields to the Ruahine mountain range. Walk, cycle, fish, or just sit on the deck and absorb the quiet, the views and the sunset.

On arrival enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast taking in the view: plunger coffee, tea, and breakfast supplies are provided. Grill dinner on the deck on the Weber BBQ, use the microwave, or head into town.

The cottage is situated next to the main house where we live. It has it's own access and there's plenty of parking for car or camper-van. Bike and kayak storage available by arrangement.

Comfortable queen bed and quality bed linen with bedside lamps.

Your hosts, Anna and Tessa, are often here working from our home office and easily available when needed. If we're not around, you can always contact us on mobile and our family nearby will help out. For the most part, we'll leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely location.

Beautifully isolated

Really comfortable place with amazing views of the Ruahine ranges and snowy tops. Great weekend away from everything, and Anna gave us some amazing homemade bread .
