This property in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. The location of the house was amazing - the Shaw Festival Theater was across the street and the Royal George Theater was a 10 minute walk - I walk slow! Further, the house was next door to a great restaurant (Zees) and again a 5-10 minute walk to about 20 great (fine dining) restaurants. The interior was extremely comfortable with three very nice bed rooms - I think a designer was involved here because all of the furnishings matched!. The kitchen had great appointments. We would have cooked in but there were so many good restaurants we could not resist going out. Also we were a 25 minute - very easy - drive to Niagara Falls. Finally the communication with the host - Bryan was fantastic.

Lovely place, great location

Very nicely appointed - just my sister and I staying. You cannot get a better location; the theatre is right across the street, and the shops just around the corner. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Great spot for a weekend away with friends

The location of this house could not be beat! We could walk everywhere, clean house, as described through the listing and photos. Would recommend! Also good communication from the host is always a bonus :)

Great location, comfortable and well-appointed

Great location —walk to everything—and suitable for family of adults and pet (big backyard). Bedrooms are a bit on small side but kitchen is bright and well-supplied, and there are two seating areas and dining areas. We really enjoyed it. Nice and clean including nice white sheets.

Special Family event

We booked this house for our son’s engagement in Niagara on the lake. We were so pleased with the house The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was very well set-up. The house is extremely clean and well designed.

Clean but bit worn/old

Very clean! 2 of 3 very comfortable beds - one was sunk and soft on one side. Exterior door really needs replacing as do windows. Handle on one bedroom door broken, couch very worn. No walk from driveway to front door and given rainy weather it meant constantly muddy shoes. Great location.

Shaw Festival

It was wonderful. Walking to the Festival theater everyday. It would be helpful to have a street map. Zee’s was incredible for dinner and so was the Irish Harp. Pellar’s winery was outstanding. Everyone treated us with great service and very accommodating. Going out of their way. The outside needs a lot of attention. The guest book was totally used so we bought one and replaced it so comments could be left. We are looking forward to coming back again. Thank you.

Amazing location and cozy home

The location of this house is absolutely amazing. It is right across from the Shaw Theater, less than a block from town center, yet on a quiet peaceful side street. The home is older, and not large, but the renovation inside makes it very cozy, and comfortable. We had a party of 6 staying and found it to be convenient and comfortable for all to hang out in, shower, rest, and cook full meals. The owners and the property manager were also wonderful, responsive, communicative, and accommodating both before the bookings and during our stay. We did have a couple of issues on arrival with cleaners having clearly missed the mark when getting the home ready for us. However, we immediately notified the owners and property manager, who right away sprung into action having the cleaning crew return within an hour and thoroughly take care of everything. The owner of the cleaning company herself came to ensure everything is addressed and was extremely apologetic. The property owners and manager were also extremely apologetic and ready to do whatever is necessary to address our concerns. They made sure everything was right and offered us compensation for the inconvenience. In all, it seemed like an honest mistake that was quickly corrected. When we return we would stay here again, as the location was trully fantastic and the home had all of the necessary amenities for a nice stay.

The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Well equipped, with pretty luxurious common areas. The bedrooms were on the small side, but comfy, and the ensuite in one was very welcome.On the downside were the bbq, featured in photos, whose grill was in appalling condition, the tv, which was extremely difficult to figure out (without any written instructions that we ever found - are there any?) and although everything is on one floor, there is a slight, unmarked step from the hallway to the common area (a hazard for sleepy coffee seekers in the morning.)All in all, highly recommended, especially if you do not plan to barbeque.

Lovely little house in an amazing location! Very clean and has everything you need for a family.Full backyard, deck, bbq, very well outfitted kitchen and comfy beds and pillows. A 5 minute walk to the Prince of Wales hotel and 10 minute walk to the lake. Spacious driveway for 2 cars and it was so peaceful at night all we could hear was the wind rustling the trees and the cicadas. Would definitely come back!

Fantastic Stay

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Boutique home in Niagara on the Lake. The property had everything my friends and I needed to enjoy our 2 days in wine country. I cannot rave enough about the location as well. Steps from pubs, restaurants, groceries and the Shaw theatre itself...just wow. Host Bryan was communicative from the very start and the check in/check out process was easy as pie. Highly recommend and will keep this property in mind for our next trip to NOTL. Thanks so much!

Perfect spot for a perfect town

Niagara Falls is beautiful, but the town is too built up and commercial for our interests. Enter Niagara on the Lake, a picturesque town a short drive away that seems to have come right off a postcard. This property is just around the corner from one end of the business district, and directly across from the Shaw Festival Theater. It was a perfect base of operations to explore NOTL as well as for day trips to the falls, Toronto, and the outlet mall for the teens. We’re not wine drinkers, but it seemed it would be paradise if we were. The house size and amenities suited our family of four just fine. And it was a convenient for our American family to get our passports a little light exercise, as getting in and out of Canada was a breeze. Overall a fantastic trip, and one we plan to do again in the future.

Cozy and quaint in town property
