About this property

Kauai has been named Hawaii's Garden Island for its stunning scenery that is made up of dramatic mountains, colorful canyons, sparkling waterfalls, and white sand beaches. Soak in the sunshine and tropical breezes as you walk the paths of the astonishingly gorgeous 36-acre seaside gardens at Kiahuna Plantation. Relax as you listen to the waves from your private lanai or enjoy a short 2-minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs, towels, and cold drinks are available to our guests at the beach shack.

Surf lessons are conducted daily. The seasoned surfer will delight at the waves that are just off shore. Young and old alike enjoy swimming and snorkeling on the reefs. The kiddos will enjoy playing on the beach or swimming in the pool that has a sand entry and a super-cool water slide.

All of our guests have full privileges to the fitness club which includes the open air exercise equipment room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, fitness classes, and yoga. The Plantation's restaurant is known for fine dining and tropical drinks that can be enjoyed on the veranda of the original plantation house. Several excellent restaurants, boutique shops, and coffee shops are nearby and within walking distance.

The one bedroom condo is on the ground floor surrounded by tropical gardens and flowers. It will accommodate up to 4 guests with a comfortable king size bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The bright and open kitchen is fully equipped. There is complimentary high-speed wifi, and two flat screen televisions with cable.

Kiahuna Golf course is nearby for the golf enthusiast. Many of the other activities on Kauai speak to the nature lover. They include a variety of magnificent hikes to explore the Waimea Canyon or to discover the Na Pali Coast. There is sea kayaking, river tubing, sailing, boat rides for whale and dolphin watching, scuba diving, sea fishing, horseback riding, zip-line thrills, and nature photography walks. Astonishingly beautiful botanical gardens and secret beaches are waiting for you to discover them. For those focused on relaxing fine spas and massages are available nearby. And as always there are beach chairs and sunshine two-minutes from your door!

Purchased because we love Kauai and most of all beautiful Poipu Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Why they chose this property

Poipu Beach and the Kiahuna Plantation merge to become the quintessential Hawaiian beach property. We adore the tropical grounds and the spacious setting. It is serene and garden-like yet right on the beach in sunny, near perfect weather.

What makes this property unique

Kiahuna Plantation units seem more like beach bungalows than a typical Hawaiian vacation condo. The architecture is reminiscent of the sugar cane plantation homes and grounds it is built upon, which gives the grounds a relaxing aloha atmosphere. Unit 102 is so close to the beach you can hear the waves and feel the tropical sea breezes as you sit out on the lanai. Our unit is a light and airy ground unit with no stairs. There are only ten units in Building 17. Gas BBQs are clustered in several areas near the unit. There is a clean well equipped coin operated laundry nearby on the property.

Guests have full access at no-charge to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club which is a short walk from the front door. The Club offers both a pool, gym and tennis courts. Fitness classes and yoga are scheduled regularly. Enjoy the Hawaiian style landscaped pool, with two waterfalls, a super-cool waterslide, and a sandy beach shallow area for the children.
