Just wonderful

We reluctantly check out in the morning, and it feels like leaving home. I am electronically challenged and Dean was kind enough to spend time to go “old school” for check-in, for which I thank him. Jessica and Dean have created one sweet place here. Just beautiful. We hope to return and stay again. Thanks also to Josh and Michelle. We are grateful for everything!

Great access to Glacier National Park

This property is just a few miles from West Glacier. It is also secluded in the forest. The home was spotless and makes for a great get out into the woods adventure.

Perfect mountain getaway!

The cabin was so perfectly designed and decorated. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Very clean and well kept. We hated to leave. The owners were very friendly and take pride in their resort. The cabin was close to many beautiful areas in Glacier National Park. We could spend the day enjoying the sites and return to our little home away from home. I can't wait to return. Great retreat!

Perfect house for our family.

My family of 4 (all adults) loved staying at the Ridge. It was clean and comfortable. Also close to the West Entrance as well as restaurants in Columbia Falls. Really appreciated the timely communication about the nearby fire from the owner. It was very nice to meet Emily next door who let us borrow bear spray for the days we were there as well as providing recommendations. Would definitely come back.

So clean and cozy!

We had a wonderful trip to this cute little cabin in the woods. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Our biggest worry in traveling is cleanliness and having nice sheets! This was the perfect place to come home to after long days of adventuring in Glacier National Park! Whitefish was also only about a 40 minute drive so we spent time there as well. Would definitely come back!

Amazing Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this perfect little cabin in the woods. We were coming to enjoy Glacier National Park and this cabin was a quick drive to West Glacier. It was the perfect size for our family of five. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed all of the amenities…there was everything that we needed. It was wonderful to be able to make breakfast every morning! We also enjoyed having our coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend this great cabin in the woods.

Gorgeous Private Setting

The cabin and setting was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin was exactly as pictured on the site and the communication with the owners and onsite host was perfect! We sat on the deck each night and listened to the singing birds and the occasional train horn in the background. Very peaceful. Thank you - we will be back and will recommend it to others. I didn’t want to leave.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We stayed in cabin #5 - my husband, daughter, her boyfriend and myself. Perfect amount of space for us. The beds are super comfy and we’re welcomed after a long day of hiking at GNP. Speaking of GNP, it’s only about 11 minutes to Apgar Visitor Center from the cabin. Also, about a 15 minute drive to Columbia Falls. We were visited by a momma deer and her two babies right off the porch one night. I highly recommend this place for location, comfort and value!

Comfortable, modern cabin close to Glacier NP

My husband & I stayed 4 nights in Sept and really enjoyed the cabin. It's down a mile-long gravel road (nothing any car can't handle) in a very quiet, wooded setting. The cabin had all the pots, pans and dishes necessary to do some basic cooking, but doesn't have food staples that some might expect (oil, coffee, tea, spices, ...) so be sure to bring your own. The hosts were on-site, very responsive and very friendly -- messages sent to them were answered immediately. Having the washer/dryer was also a huge plus, and the gas fireplace was a nice (and warm) touch!

Smoke gone and No Fires

There were fires in the Glacier area the week before we arrived so we as others were cautious about our stay in the Glacier area. But rain proceeded our arrival. All was well. This place is really nice and out of the way. If you desire solitude along with comfort, this is a good place. Our welcome committee is a big white dog named Rosie. I was told she keeps the bears and mountain lions at bay and appears to be irritated by the local small black colored squirrels. So if you are visiting the Glacier area, I do recommend this place.

It was wonderful!

This cabin was so well built and maintained- it even smelled nice. Decorated cute. Plenty of room for the four of us. Such a quiet area it was nice. The family’s dog Rosie was a high light! She would roam the large property doing her guard duties but the run over for a petting and a sit on our porch. It was convenient that the cabin had a washer and dryer and provided detergent. Plenty of sheets and towels. Shampoo and body wash provided. Very central location - close to GNP entrance. We decided to end our visit early because of limited views/ hiking opportunities on the West side due to the fire, which was a shame. We loved it and feel we made a fantastic choice and highly recommend.

This cabin is awesome!

This property is simply perfect. It’s in the woods and private with the exception of the other cabins on the property. It’s close to GNP, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, whitefish, etc. We were amazed at the ammenities at the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, linens, toilet paper, paper towels, and even laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. I was so impressed! It was clean and tidy. Jack welcomed us and helped us out during our stay. He gave us good recommendations and even some safety tips. He is a simple text or call away if there are any issues (which there weren’t). My husband and I are already planning our trip back to MT. It’s made such a lasting impression on us and cabin was the prefect little place to stay.

HOW THE RIDGE CAME TO BE…
Jessica and her family began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort in 2013. Finding the perfect piece of land, THE RIDGE AT GLACIER was developed into a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Why they chose this property

THE RIDGE AT GLACIER
In 2013 Jessica found the perfect spot, a piece of pristine, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

The project began in 2014. The design layout resulted in a secluded feel where each cabin looks off an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. The builder brought forth the finest design elements and craftsmanship to make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

This cabin was built to ensure you a comfortable and luxurious yet homey stay. It was designed with an open layout of fully functional kitchen, dining area, and living room surrounding a cozy propane fireplace. The kitchen has all of your dishes, utensils, some standard spices, microwave, and coffee maker, in addition to the full size refrigerator, oven, stovetop, dishwasher and disposal. Just pick up your groceries at the local grocery in Hungry Horse. They sell wine and beer as well choice cuts of meat for the grill, fresh produce, local coffee, a selection of organic items, and all the staples you might need.

This cabin at The Ridge has three bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. It has a full bath with laundry downstairs. Each room in the cabin is equipped with a ceiling fan and its own thermostat control and electric heating unit. So if you’re traveling with friends, everyone stays comfortable. Rest well on your king or queen size beds snuggled up in your comforter in a room décor designed to make your decision to jump out of bed a tough choice. The upstairs bedrooms have beautiful handcrafted dormers with views of the peaks and the side windows will remind you that you just woke up in the beautiful woods of Montana.

What makes this property unique

This property resides at the end of a Kickbusch Lane providing both privacy and serenity. Many properties in the area are directly along U.S. Highway 2. Those properties are neither private nor serene. The Ridge At Glacier offers pristine beauty in its natural setting with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. If you are looking for the perfect balance of nature and convenience, this is the place for you!
