The boat dock is steps from the deck. Cook breakfast in the kitchen while gazing at the view of the cove and lake, or lounge on the sunporch with your morning coffee and enjoy the view through the floor to ceiling windows. Evenings can be spent on the deck watching the beautiful West Texas sunsets over the lake, and behind the mountains.

Because this cove is a protected no wake zone, the water is usually calm and ideal for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

This lake cabin is clean, cute, and right on the water!! There is plenty of space outdoors to enjoy the sunshine, fish, and take off on your watercraft! It is truly the BEST location!

The private dock was fun to swim off of and had a ladder for easy in/out. Great patio area to watch the sunset. Comfortable beds & furnished beautifully. Very relaxing atmosphere. We met here for a ladies getaway & it was perfect! Great communication with the host. We will definitely be back.

Extremely well appointed lake house

All the details have been thought of and it’s super clean. Both indoor and outdoor fun for the family. The back patio overlooking the lake in the morning is worth the price alone.

This lake cabin was absolutely perfect. We definitely enjoyed our weekend away with family and friends. This is our favorite area of the lake and the water front property was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding experience

This was the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in a long time. Much better than advertised. We spent most of the time on the porch that has a huge shade tree over it.

Great Lake House

Owner was amazing and very accommodating. We were staying there for a Rocker B baseball tournament and had a late game on Sunday and the owner was gracious enough to let us have a late check out. if you have a boat, it has great access to the lake with a boat ramp just a few houses down. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

JJ is by far the best person to rent from. She is very easy to communicate with and get ahold of. The property and location are by far the best in the area. We rent from her yearly and is always the best experience, hands down.

Beautiful bday getaway

We did a getaway from Austin area for my birthday. We brought up our boat, so the dock was perfect. The cove is calm and quiet. My boys finished each morning and evening off the dock. Super cute cabin stocked with all the basics. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. They gave tips for best places to eat. Thanks again

Perfect place for our family

We were in a baseball tournament at Rocker B Ranch and this was thr perfect place for our family of 4 to stay. My kids spent hours on the dock fishing when we were not playing baseball and they loved it so much. Everything was clean and the view was amazing. It was one of our favorite trips and we hope to go back again! Thank you for making it so easy! Loved it!

Great relaxing vacation

We had a great time at Jane Ann’s house! There were 5 adults and we had plenty of room, towels, hot water, everything! All the appliances were new and worked perfectly. The A/C kept us nice and cool for the whole time we stayed. Beds were comfy and we all slept well. The location could not be better with friendly neighbors, our own dock, steps into the water and a boat ramp just a few yards away. We had a great time and would love to stay again soon!

I am a native Texan, working professional, a mom and a grandmother. I have a long history with Possum Kingdom Lake, and have been coming here since I was 5 years old. We have kept our boat here since 1979, and, finally, have purchased this house. We couldn’t be more excited!

Why they chose this property

We have rented houses in this cove for years, and have been waiting and watching for a property to come available. When this property became available, there was no hesitation to purchase it. After having looked extensively all over the lake, we believe this cove is the best kept secret on Possum Kingdom Lake!

What makes this property unique

The entire cove is a no wake zone, and, for this reason, the cove stays mostly smooth and calm. This makes it ideal for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. The back of the house faces the west, so we get beautiful sunsets! The cove is very quiet and peaceful. It is a wonderful place to get away and relax!
