Clean comfortable spacious house

House is large spacious and comfortable for a large party. House is old but still in great shape. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy during my stay. Saw some people digging in the dumpsters and loitering nearby but overall for a night or 2 I would stay again

So convenient to the airport

My family needed a place to stay in Anchorage after a vacation in Homer, something that was close to the airport. This home was the perfect spot. The house had so many bedrooms, with very comfortable beds. It was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Ken was very quick in responding to questions, and it was a great place to relax after a long drive. Very accomodating and conveniently located.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

We had a single night stay here for a group of 10. I'll start with the good (ish). The property although older and dated was generally clean and as described in the listing. Getting access to the unit was complicated - no code was given until texting a copy of id (seems unnecessary but ok). He attempted to call night before, didn't leave a voicemail but did sent a short text (with no details) to which I responded to but no response. The day of, when trying to look up check-in details, I seem the ID request - so I texted the copy of my ID and our planned arrival time, no response, 30 min prior to arrival called the number and left voicemail, no response. Finally when at the property, I called again and was finally able to connect and get the check-in code. We arrived around 10 PM, then around 11:30 PM, two people enter the unit. We find out they are also a group of 10 people who had booked the unit for the same night and had also received the same code as us. So after the entire complicated process of check-in and wanting to make sure the only the right people entered the unit, they had still missed that they double booked the unit and gave two groups the code. When contacted by the other group, the only response was yeah that happens sometimes, I can give you a refund. No effort to assist in finding a location or providing different arrangements. So here we stand at near midnight helping this other group try to find help this other group try to find hotel options for 10 people.

Clean Older Home

This clean, older home was inexpensive and suitable for our one-night stay. All our requirements were met and the house was well stocked. My only issue with the property was all the scented air fresheners throughout the house; I found it very overwhelming. Even after unplugging them, the scent remained and I actually had some difficulty sleeping because of it. Luckily, we were in the yard most of the evening. The cornhole game was very entertaining!

Spacious House with lots of beds

Very clean and large house. Fit me and my 4 buddies very well. Was my first VRBO so did not know all the protocol of checking in. Took a bit to get door coded. Host was very accommodating allowing us late checkout as our flight was later in the evening. Overall great stay. Would recommend.

Cozy and convenient

The house was surprisingly big, and had lots of sleeping areas. All the things we needed for a large group of teens- washer and dryer, dishwasher, large fridge, coffee pot. Beds were comfortable and neighborhood was quiet.

The house is older but roomy and clean. The owner provided everything we needed. Communications were a little slow. Owner answers the phone quickly but not messages through vrbo. Details on VRBO are sketchy. All enjoyed the stay and the property was well-suited to our needs.

A very large home with plenty of rooms to accommodate our large group. It is an older home. The owner uses a type of plug in scented (oil?) Containers in every room to mask the old home scent...which was fine except activated our allergies...once unplugged allergies improved. They have an auto sensor on the hallway lights which was wonderful! No need to search around for light switches! Neighborhood was quiet even for a Summer Saturday night! Security was excellent! There is a Ring door system and security cameras outside. Off street parking right next to the door. Ken was super friendly, accommodating, easy to get ahold of for questions...did an excellent job of making us feel at home! The only suggestion for improvement: There is a fairly big step when going into the house. Would be beneficial to install some type of railing or grab bar near the steps.
